As the rest of the team shows up, Coralia has already installed a small foldable table in the middle room. She puts the board game on it.
The spaces seem to be around the game, like Monopoly, with some tiny mechanical fishes in the middle. Coralia hands out tiny plastic fishing rods to everyone.
Coralia: "Okay, it's simple. You roll the dice, fall on a space, follow what's written on the space.
The goal is to get the most fishes. To try and get a fish though, you need a worm card, which you can get when drawing cards. You also need to buy a boat from one of the corner spaces.
When you have a boat and worms, you can decide to go fishing whenever you want during your turn. One attempt per worms. When there's no more fish in the middle, the game is over and we count who has the most."

"Oh, wow. This is more complicated than I expected..." Cinnabre says. "How about you go first so we can get an idea of how this works?"
Glendova frowns. "Why can't I just dive in and use my trident like I normally do?"

Coralia: "Hmmm... The fishes are the size of the game's fishing rod... Your trident and nets are too big..."

Glen shrugs. "I guess it can't be helped. The game imposes stupid rules to limit us and make sure we all fight on more equal terms... or something?" She tosses her jacket onto her bed and pulls up a seat around the board. "I'm not gonna lose at fishing, handicap or no. Let's go."
Cinnabre takes a seat on the opposite side of the table.

(I'm gonna make a summary of what happens, I'll just let you guys decide if your characters are good or bad at board games before writing the scene.)

Cin's competent enough. Plays safe until he learns the game, then adopts a more aggressive approach.
Glen goes hard from moment one, high-risk, high-reward. Learns quick, especially from all the mistakes she makes.

Hunter won't know what he's doing until a few rounds in.

Team CCHG plays the fishing board game all night.
The game started with Coralia having a far advance from everyone else. Cinnabre analyzed her turns carefully, trying to understand the game as quickly as possible, playing it safe and easy, farming a certain number of worm cards. Hunter's first few turns have him confused... He doesn't understand the game, has bad luck with the cards and is clumsy at fishing the mechanical fishes. Glendova gets a few worm cards and uses them as soon as she can.
Coralia having a lot of fish compared to the others after a few turns, Cinnabre goes all out and uses all his worm cards at once after a few turn. Hunter gets a streak of luck and starts to get the hang of it, but there's not much fishes left for him to fish... It seems he won't be able to catch up... He swears he'll get his revenge next time they play though. Glendova realised she made some mistakes, but she's not too far behind.
Coralia got cocky and realises she underestimated her captain, but doesn't notice that Glendova learned from her mistake and farmed worms herself. Coralia uses some cards to steal fishes from Cinnabre, but then Glendova takes her worms out to get the last fishes and end up winning the game.
Coralia: "Aww man... I was certain Cinnabre was the dangerous one... Congratulations."

Cinnabre laughs. "Don't worry about it, Hunter. We didn't stand a chance in a fishing contest to begin with. Still, that was pretty fun."
Glendova nods. She's hiding a smile as best she can. "Thanks, Coralia. But I still like spear-fishing better, though..."
"Maybe we should go fishing next time we have some time off?" Cinnabre suggests.

Coralia stands up and enthusiastically slam the table.
Coralia: "OH HELL YES! I will always be up to fish some marine GRIMM and beat them up!
Should we play more games for the rest of the night?"

"We've got class pretty early in the morning," Cinnabre reminds her. "We should probably go to bed at a reasonable time. We'll have more time tomorrow afternoon."
