So if I understand correctly it'll be somewhat like a resource management game? Starting with one dragon and getting others later?

Levels, Loot, and other mechanics
EXP and levels Winning battles, discovering new locations, completing quests or befriending dragons, going on scouting missions, among other stuff, all provide EXP. Once a dragon has enough EXP, they will level up and learn new abilities. Once a dragon reaches a certain level, they will grow up and mature, which will increase their stats. The highest a stat can go is S rank. Legendary Dragons, however, can go above this. When certain dragons grow up, they may undergo a dramatic transformation! This is called evolution. Appearance, stats, and abilities can change drastically.
The dragon maturity table looks like this.
Level 1- Hatchling Level 4- Young Dragon Level 8- Adult Dragon Level 12- Mature Dragon Level 16- Ancient Dragon Level 20- Max Level
Loot
Loot is divided into several categories: Items, which are healing items, food, and other consumables, Materials, which are used for crafting and forging Decorations, armor, which can be equipped on dragons to give them bonuses in battle, and Treasure, which is gold and jewels and gems. All other loot is divided into the Special Items category.
So, to break it down...
Items: Consumable items, healing items, food Materials: Used for crafting decorations and armor Armor: Gives dragons special bonuses in battle Treasure: Dragon Gold, precious gems, jewels, shiny things, etc Special Items: DLC or unique items
Decorations are things you can make to fill out your Lair, which will give your Lair and Clan bonuses, and allow you to do things like Forge armor or make your own food. Also, something I forgot to mention. In order to get more dragons in your Clan, you need to expand your Lair. Expanding your Lair costs both Dragon Gold and Materials, which change depending on your Lair's type and location.
Other Mechanics
Stamina: Your stamina gradually decreases while flying or swimming. Resting or eating food restores your stamina. If your stamina runs out, you need to rest for a day before you can explore again.
Time: Most things like exploring or scouting takes time, usually around a day. This is known as your "Day Action". Once the day is over, you will go back to your Lair or Nest to rest. You can then choose to do a "Night Action", such as mating or spending time with another dragon to raise your relationship. Once all the players have used their Day and Night Actions, I will progress the world and move to the next day. When it's the "world's turn" to move, that's when stores will restock, dragon NPCs will move, dragons may invade you, or other things.
The current day and month will be displayed at the beginning of every day, along with any info relevant to that day.
Note that all players start out in a Nest, not a Lair. You can sleep and recover in a Nest, but cannot upgrade it or recruit any new dragons.
The Explorer's Guild
The famous Dragon Explorer's Guild is located in the mountains north of the desert. It is a very large structure built into the mountainside, and is always bustling with lots of dragons flying around, so it's very easy to find. All young hatchlings should make a point of going to the Guild as soon as possible.
Some of the functions of the Guild are explained below:
Toothless's Bazaar: Where you go to pick up DLC purchased at the Exchange.
Guild Master: Speak to the Guild Master for info on current events, or if you're ever confused about where to go in the main story. The Guild Master is also the one who will give you Main Story quests and advance the Main Story.
Famous Cartographer: You can speak to the Famous Cartographer to hear hints about the locations of Lairs. He will give 3 hints per day. Sometimes, he will hear about rare Lairs.
Arena Master: Speak to the Arena Master if you want to compete in Arena matches. You have to pay a small fee, but you earn that fee back if you win, and you get EXP and items for participating. Only one dragon(Per Player) can participate in the Arena at a time. Arena matches are made up of 3 battles, with each battle being harder than the last. You do not get to rest between fights, but you can use Healing Items between fights. Arena fights are against monsters, with the bosses being other dragons. Rumors say if you win enough matches in a row, you'll get challenged by "Special Opponents". Defeat these Special Opponents to earn special rewards.
That's everything, I think.

I mean, the Spikey-Tail Dragon was definitely based off Steve. It's actually literally just a Seregios.
