Appearance: River Dragons are almost always female, and are fairly small, slender serpentine dragons with vividly colored scales, long tails, and shiny feathered wings. River Dragons are famous for being extremely beautiful and intelligent, as well as kind and gentle. The more beautiful a River Dragon, the more popular they are. The colors of their scales vary widely, and are always a combination of three or more bright colors. For example, some River Dragons have green, blue, and purple scales, while others have turquoise, green, and silver scales.
Combat: River Dragons are peaceful creatures and rarely fight. But if they need to defend themselves, they are very fast and well versed in magic. River Dragons can fly, though they would much rather swim.
Starting Abilities: Waterbreathing- This dragon can breathe underwater indefinitely and swim in both shallow and deep water. Can be passed on to children to allow other species of dragons to swim in water, that would not normally be able to. Like Lava Dragons or Boulder Dragons, for example. These dragons have very long, whip-like tails that they use to strike foes from afar, and have excellent nightvision.
Combat: Forest Dragons prefer to be stealthy and silently ambush foes with their sharp, whip-like tails. If that fails, they confound their targets with lightning-quick movements and sharp claws. Forest Dragons like to make their homes in the treetops and leap down at prey. They are not very good fliers, however.
