Hmm...
How about this? There are specific ghosts in the mansion that look like humans. They're the most varied and basic ghosts. I'll make it so she can make them allies if she can negotiate with them properly. SMT style baby.

Welp here goes my sign up. Again regrets I have none
Name: Brooklyn Cloverfield
Description: An athletic looking female. With long flowing brown hair and wide blue eyes. Always walks around with a stereotypical lab coat and wide brim glasses. Underneath her lab coat she has a plain blue shirt and a pair of work slacks. Also wears a pair of sneaker
Backstory: Has always had a fascination with ghosts ever since she was a little girl. Now that she's been selected to be a part of the exploration team it's her big dream come true.
Ability: Let's make a deal attempts to negotiate with one of the many basic human looking ghosts.
Perks: Succes: Is able to recruit the ghost as a potential ally.
Detriments: Failure: Brooklyn is completely stun and is unable to move til the her next turn. Loses a turn of actions after the negotiation failed

Oh i just assumed they would be speaking in Luigi's Mansion ghost speech where it was more laughs giggles and weird ghosts noises. But maybe her perk can be that she can reach the hearts of some ghosts and get them join the party or convince them to leAve or help out in passive ways. Could that be something I think that's less that they can't talk and more that it's a Mario game. The fortune-teller that helps Luigi find the other ghosts can speak just fine. |

Thinks vacuums are homosexual, so he never uses them. Not sure if this could be accepted, but I think it would be fun to have a raging racist who can't get any better try to smash everything. |

Isn't that character even more impossible for the team to work around than Smash? At least Smash could be distracted or convinced not to destroy everything in sight (although it would have made him irritable), this is a character who clashes with Yoshi's character in every way.
