A girl with long black hair in a ponytail is looking around for the caravan she was invited in. Terrace is looking at the note she got, and looks at the big house in front of her. Wasn't she looking for a caravan? She approaches the door while she notices another girl with red hair. She seems to be one of these gals with "modern clothes". Felicia is looking at the map in her hands and seems as baffled as Terrace to find a house. Some kind of guy in a robe mage runs right past the two women and opens the door. As soon as as Samson opens the door, some kind of wolf with crystals sticking out of his body runs out from an alley and right trhough the door. Crystalis immediately notices that the house is a front. It's just one big room with a table and 6 chairs, with the caravan in the back. Arma, the silver-haired elf whom invited the adventurers has them take place around the table. A young girl is already there, you can barely see her red hair as she wears a brown cloak and a bandana covering everything, except her green eyes. She seems to be analyzing the four adventurers with her eyes.
Arma: "Well... Only four of you showed up. I expected as such. We're in Benny's town after all. He wouldn't let adventurers even be a thing. The others must have been too scared of the repercussions.
What we are doing here is extremely dangerous. We have no ressources. No allies. No contacts. But our goal is to change that.
The world has to be saved by someone right?
We cannot go out the town in a caravan. We'd get caught. Thankfully, I managed a little something."
The red-haired girl coughs.
"Okay... Melinda managed something. She's the stealthy one after all. You see, the back wall of this fake house leads straight out of the town. I don't know how she managed to do that without getting caught, but I won't complain.
Now, our first order of business should be to see our scout, Melinda to find some information for us, but if any of you has any questions before that, I will do my best to answer them."
Arma notices that one of the adventurers is a wolf.
"Oh... Is that an adventurer? Hmm... Communicating with it might be hard, but I'm sure he'll follow your decisions."

Crystalis wags his tail when he hears people talking about him.
Terrace sighs. "Really? A dog? Whatever. Anyway, it looks like I'm gonna be the leader of this group. As the leader, I think we should get to work investigating some bad guys and stopping them from doing bad guy things. How about we start wiiith...bandits! The bandit king! Classic adventurer starting point."

Samson: "I was thinking about searching for spells... Maybe working against Drench might help us find some."
Felicia: "We'll need food and water quickly, so my pick is to go after Gatorax or Grant."
---NPCS---
Arma: "Wait a second here. This is my caravan. I'm the leader.
I'm not gonna make decisions of course, but all of you should be equal to each other.
Now, let me explain what Melinda does. You have to decide which Quest Ruiners you want to work against. She'll try to get quests related to them.
You can have her investigate up to three different target.
Now, you seem to all have an idea, but you should get to an agreement."

Felicia: "Okay... I think we should follow Terrace's lead on this one. Bandits can have literally anything. Are we only investigating Damian though?"
Samson: "We should see if we can get spells by investigating Drench."
Felicia: "Should we send Melinda explore two different bad guy Terrace?"

"As the team leader, I say that is a great idea!" It seems everything Arma said pretty much went in one ear and out the other.
Crystalis doesn't understand what's going on, but he's excited.
(In case you didn't catch that, we're going to investigate the bandits and Drench.)

Melinda: "Damian and Drench. Understood."
Melinda runs out of the house to gather informations.
Arma: "Well, while she does that, you have two choices. Explore the current town to get contacts or just wait for Melinda to come back and share the information she has.
We have no gold for trading right now, so if you just want to wait, I'd understand."

Uhh...I dunno. This town seems to be run by the bad guys (as expected) and we don't have any gold. Running around and asking random people to be our friends seems...dangerous.
Terrace is going to think on it a bit before shaking her head. "Nah, I think we should wait here. We should make sure we get some supplies before we try talking around. Because then we can at least pose as traders or something while we talk. Plus, I think we could all use some upgrades from those quests before we start anything else."

After a few hours of waiting, Melinda comes back with two persons.
Melinda: "I found two adventurers."
Melinda starts attaching 6 papers on the caravan, while the platinum-haired Magelf and Beetle Verian look at their surroundings. It's just a single big room with the Caravan in it.
Arma: "Thank you Melinda. Well, you must be Saden and Iri. Welcome to the caravan. You are just in time to decide which quest we should go on. Remember that you can only pick one. We have a single caravan. You'll need to go with the majority's decision. You can also ask more informations about certain quests to Melinda before deciding."

Felicia: "I'd prefer going for the gold. It's probably gonna be extremely minimal, but we might be able to get some food or water.

Saden looks at Felicia, then to Samson. "As much as I like magic, I like having money for food more. Gold's always important to have around. And it's probably best to start with an easy mission to test our abilities."
Iri looks conflicted. "Yeah, true enough... Though I'm a bit worried about this magic teacher. Hate to abandon someone who's in trouble, but if we gotta, we gotta. Maybe tell us a bit more about that one, Melinda?"

Melinda looks at the sheet and grins.
"I don't like how I worded that. I'll use the word "rescue" in the future.
Anyway, this mage student was concerned about his teacher who left 10 days ago to find magical plants in the forest. The student says he knows his teacher is alive, because he's sending messages using some communication spells.
The messages supposedly say: "I'm alive. The mindflayers have not found me yet."
Mindflayers have psychic abilities, but since they didn't find the guy yet, they must be weak."

Crystalis barks in agreement with the new adventurer on going to find that buried chest. But Terrace seems unconvinced. "I need some new magic, so I think we should get that mage corpse."
(Are the difficulties general or in relation to our current power?)

Arma: "Alright, it's time for our first quest!"
Arma jumps in front of the caravan as everyone takes place inside it. As the horse starts to run towards the back wall, the wall opens right up into the plains. The Caravan is off!

Arma: "Woah... That was crazy... This is what happens when we explore at night I guess...
Melinda calculated you should have completed the quest, hence why I came to pick you up...
I would never have expected a Behemoth..."
Melinda places the two chests in the room.
Arma: "Well, before we go to sleep, we should open those chests. There's an old saying that says the content of a chest differs depending on who opens it. I don't know if it's real, but we should decide who should open each chest.
The first one was found in the Mercenaries' tent.
The second one is the bandit's chest."
Felicia: "I didn't participate. I don't think I should open these chests."
Samson: "I doubt they contain spells..."
