(On the one hand that's probably a good idea since I could probably make a good staff out of it, but at the same time if the rest of the party wants to move on to searching for Ignis then since finding the 4 Gods is my character's primary motivation I don't have much of a choice but to go with them, at which point unless I can find some stone that isn't also important in still stuck on this. That also brings up another question, however: are we even ready for the next dungeon? Nobody has learned any skills, our gear isn't that great, and the only reason we beat the last boss was because we were bailed out by someone who said they wouldn't save us again. Wouldn't it be wiser for us to wait until we've done some grinding before we jump into the next part of the story?)

Chemil grins. "Perfect." You swear you saw some sort of flash in her eye before she grabs the materials and gets to work. She heads in the back room and you hear what sounds like the mixing of multiple liquids before an explosion. Chemil then walks out calmly, covered in explosive soot residue and hands you a tube of Defense Gel. "You paid me well, so there's some extra gel."

In a similar fashion, Chemil creates some Defense Gel for you. "Since you paid me well, I gave you some extra gel. Use it wisely."

Leanne seems to be thinking. "Hmm...do you think maybe we should go visit Port Losean? It would take a couple days to get there and get back, but maybe we could find someone there to work as a blacksmith or carpenter apprentice...?"
Talys sighs. "All of this walking back and forth is rather tedious. If we had an airship like back home, it would be much easier to go to other towns."
"Where are we supposed to get an airship? Only important or rich people have those..."
"It was just a thought. For now, we should focus on our training. Should we head to the Goblin Path or to the Living forest?"
"I'm sure we could go somewhere else too. Did you ask around town for new dungeons close by?"

Oiya and Barfy get into a long debate early in the morning. Finally, they agree on what to do. Oiya wanders out to the center of town and stands around awkwardly. When people pass by, she nervously tells them she's going to Iron Town to look for new recruits, and it'd probably be smart to take at least one other person.
She also mentions that Barfy's going along part of the way, then heading into the Iron Mines. And won't be dissuaded. And she'd like someone to go with him since she can't.
Meanwhile, Barfy goes to the farm to buy a mixed vegetable bag, then heads to find Bunny-friend while Oiya does the hard part.

You quickly buy a Mixed Vegetable Bag from Grace. You then head over to see Lapin. "Oh, it's you. Hello." She bends down to speak with Barfy. "Did you bring your materials for the General Store you wanted?"
