Everyone
The next morning comes after you all get some rest, restoring all your HP and SP. When you wake up, all the adventurers head over to the main square as they were instructed yesterday by Grizious. As you show up, he's waiting there patiently and seems to be holding some strange objects in his hands. "Welcome, to your first day as adventurers. I'm sure you're wondering what these things are that I'm holding. Well, they're that other special gift I wanted to give you. As adventurers, it's important you recognize these Class Stones. These little gems contain the experience of past adventurers inside and by using them, their spirits will teach you new abilities."
Class Stones: Class Stones are rare gems that are scattered throughout the world and can be found inside many dungeons. These stones were created by the gods with each one containing the experience of a legendary hero inside. By using these stones, you can change classes to the one of the specified stone. Over time, if you fight as the same class, you will earn CP. CP will help you unlock new skills as you gain experience in using that class. But keep in mind changing your class will change a lot of things for your character. Their weapon and armor proficiencies are determined by their class and their stats will change as well. Their appearance may also change after a class change, although this is usually a purely aesthetic affect.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Characters will have Weapon and Armor Proficiencies that determine their skill with a certain weapon or armor.
These are ranked A, B, and C. Using equipment you have an A rank proficiency in will double the effect you receive from that piece of equipment.
A B rank proficiency means you can use that equipment without any bonuses or detriments. Finally, a C rank proficiency means you cannot use the equipment well and will only gain half the effect from it as a penalty. Be careful when considering your classes and your equipment!
"With that introduction out of the way, I'd like to tell you that you can change classes any time as long as you're in the village. After all, we should keep the stones here so that they're safe. These three stones are the Knight, Healer, and Mage Class Stones. With them, you should be able to change into those classes. But keep in mind you will have to use them for a few battles before you learn any skills."
He then places the stones on a small altar. "If you ever want to change classes, just make a quick prayer to the stone of your choice. The spirit inside will then grant you access to their power. Although, there will be a bright flash of light before then. Don't worry, it's normal."
He then turns back to you. "Now then, I promised to tell you about adventuring. As you likely guessed, the townspeople here will often speak to you about problems or issues they have. Or you may want to gather certain materials from monsters. Well, once you know what you want, you should gather a party of four here and then head out. You can have less than four, but no more than four. Larger groups are hard to get through dungeons. Multiple groups can also go to the same dungeon as long as they stay separate. Now you won't be getting paid for helping thr villagers, but you WILL find treasure when you clear dungeons. So it's important you do your best to get through a dungeon all the way. Also, Don't forget to eat before you leave or you'll be hungry. I think that's everything. You can always talk to me if you have anymore questions."
