Heather takes a defensive stance. Kali then takes out a Healing Herb and restores 10 health to herself. "My barriers will protect you." The unknown fairy is surrounded in shadows as he sacrifices 23 health, creating shadowy barriers around the party. Mercedes flies in and smacks the Treant with her staff, dealing 1 damage. Ralliado then attacks the Treant with her knife, dealing 3 damage. The Treant then raises its fist in the air before smashing it down into Kali. The shadow barrier blocks the attack and receives 10 damage.

Heather takes a defensive stance. The fairy's blade is surrounded in a red aura. "Your life is mine." He then slashes through the Treant, causing a large gash to form as the sword absorbs its energy. The Treant receive 19 damage. The mysterious man recovers 8 health. Kali then attacks with her staff, dealing 1 damage. Mercedes smacks the Treant as well for another 1 damage. Ralliado then strikes the Treant for 3 damage. "I'll end this." The mysterious man surrounds his blade in shadows before striking the Treant on last time, dealing 19 dark element damage.
Victory!
Kali reaches level 5!
Kali earns 1 Mage CP!
Kali receives Mana Herbs x1
Heather reaches level 5!
Heather earns 1 Healer CP!

The party takes a minute to catch their breath as the mysterious man walks over to the defeated Treant. "Your soul is mine..." He reaches down and pulls a mysterious energy out of the Treant that you can only assume is its soul. He then creates what looks like a small gem with it before snapping his fingers and warping it away in a dark void. He then walks over to the chest and kicks it open. After inspecting what's inside he shrugs and tosses the contents to the party.
Party recieves Rogue Stone
Party recieves 100 Gold/3 CP Crystals
He then stands there, waiting and watching. "You're weak. Train and get stronger. I won't save you next time." He then points to the fountain. "Drink, priestess. It's the last thing here still blessed by the gods."

I'll take the Gold, while the CP would help make me useful sooner the gold is exactly what I need to pay for the church.
Heather nods in agreement, kneeling before the fountain and offering a quick prayer before drinking from the fountain.

(Wait, was I level 4? Doing the math if that's the case then it looks like I'm missing the stat bonuses from it too.
Also, while that's true I could ask her tomorrow morning and then work on my CP during the day while it's being built. If that's not possible I'll take the CP instead.)

I'd rather be cooperative about this. Wait to see if we can find a carpenter apprentice so we can upgrade the build-y place first to take more stuff at once and not block each other.

Heather and Kali both pray to Briar before Heather drinks the water from the fountain.
Heather hears what sounds like a voice speaking to hear from somewhere far off...
"What is it that you seek of me, child? Speak now and tell me. My power weakens even as we speak..." The voice is calm yet strong and confident. One fitting for a God of the Earth.
As Heather is busy speaking with the gods, the mysterious man glances over at Hiloka staring at him. He pays no mind to the boar and instead watches Heather's interaction carefully.
