The only skill Barfy has is Attack, so... even if we're not charging as a group, just assume he's going to do nothing but attack.

Wait, when did Heather go to the Living Forest? Wasn't she just sort of awkwardly walking around town not sure what to do because Lapin didn't want her help but not wanting to leave because she told the Golem that she would be in town today if he needed anything?

Oh, I thought she was just going to go with the team grinding for EXP and CP. You don't have to go, but it would be kind of a waste unless you had something you were specifically doing in the village.

Heather defends. Leanne quickly darts forward and attacks one of the enemy Saplings, dealing 9 damage and defeating it. Barfy runs up to an enemy and smacks it for 1 damage. Kali casts a spell as flames gather in her hand, forming into a ball before she tosses it into one of the Saplings. The damage is extra effective! The Sapling receives 44 damage!
Victory!

Kali points her staff at one of the other Pesky Moles and unleashes a powerful beam of water from it, blasting them and dealing 22 damage. One of the Pesky Moles unleashes a shower of small rocks on the party, dealing 1 damage to everyone. The other Pesky Mole attacks Kali for 1 damage.

The group moves onward through the forest until coming across what looks like a shadowy path that moves off of the normal route. Leanne inspects it for a moment. "This looks like the same stuff that was on that Treant and that Golem. Hmm..."
Corruption: Sometimes, while you're walking through a dungeon, you will find a Corruption Path. You should be very careful before deciding what to do. You can choose to continue down the regular path or you can go down the Corruption Path. If you go down the Corruption Path, you will have to battle a powerful enemy, but if you defeat it, the Corruption will clear away and you'll be rewarded with a treasure.
