...So, should we bait the big monster into charging off into the orc hoard, grab the treasure while they're fighting, and bolt?

(The big monster and the orcs are four minutes away from each other by the way)

I mean, we're running out of options here. We can't fight that thing and we can't really run from it either. I can't see climbing that tree being of any use either.

(Your plan is still possible, I was just making sure you knew they were 4 minutes apart)

I say most try to bait it away while Saden digs.

Alright, then Crystalis and Terrace will bait the monster into the orcs while Saden grabs the treasure.

(Okay, I'm going to sleep, will update when I wake up. I need to know how you bait him though. Shooting? Howling? Something else? The more detailed the plan, the less liberty I have to screw you over )

I thought we were just gonna smack it or somethin' and then run really fast.

Iri's going to throw some rocks at it.

Iri throws rock at the shadowy silhouette, while Saden walks away from the others. The creature runs right through the tree, unrooting it from the ground.
Iri, Terrace and Crystalis start running away from what is revealed to be a Behemoth. They have quite the advance, but after a minute of running, it is clear that the Behemoth will catch up to the three of them before they reach the orcs...
Saden starts to dig. After a minute, he sees the top of the chest, but he needs to do more digging to get it out.

Saden takes a shot at the thing's butt, then she hides behind the ruined tree. She'll get back to digging once they work through this.
Iri will suggest they split up a li-i-i-i-ittle bit, but keep running in the same general direction. If it stops to look back at the tree, he'll get some distance, then throw another rock.

Terrace will continue to run, but Crystalis is going to jump off of her and on top of the Behemoth, using Copy Fang on its back and then jump off behind it so it keeps charging forward and away from him.

(Sorry Crow for the last post, I dun goofed and reversed your two characters.)
Saden stops digging to take aim at the Behemoth, while proning under the fallen tree.
Iri separates himself from the others and since he threw the rock, he clearly is the target. Terrace safely continues to run. Crystalis stops for a second, then uses Terrace as a stepping stone to push himself towards the monster's flank.
Saden takes the shot, but the already running Behemoth seems to not be changing target. Crystalis jumps on the creature's back, then starts biting it. Iri hears the beast closing in, then braces himself, as it stops right before hitting him. A cliud of dust flies around Iri.
The beast shakes relentlessly, launching Crystalis off of itself. Crystalis takes minor damage, but his face shifts, as horns appear on his head.
Behemoth Ram: Charge the enemy to launch them in the opposite direction. Launch power depends on the enemy's size.
The Behemoth seems to be looking around for what bit it...

While the Behemoth is unable to see Crystalis, he'll use the Behemoth Ram skill to charge into its side and flank it. Once the Behemoth's attention is turned toward Crystalis, Terrace will run in and swing her sword at the tail, attempting to cut part of it off.

Iri will remind them that they're supposed to be running away and leading it to the orcs because if we get caught between them uh-oh.
Saden will see the others have things well in hand, shrug, and go back to digging.
