The bat and the traps

Eve walks around the cemetary, knowing the Varpam is not actually near her location. She starts placing traps around the cemetary in preparation for the battle to come. She looks at her horn to make sure she has it. She's gonna use it later to call the giant bat to her location. Suddenly, she hears one of her traps being activated behind her. She turns around and see that a trap was truly activated and is now useless... but there's nothing in it!

"..."

Another trap is activated behind her. She turns around and a Ghost pops up in her face trying to scare her. There's a long silence, then Eve begins laughing:

"Is that supposed to be scary?"

She takes her bow out as she's pinned down to the floor by some mysterious wind.

"What the..."

She stands up, but immediately gets body slammed by a Gargoyle, as an Harpy keeps sending wind at the archer to keep her on the floor. It doesn't take too long before Eve loses consciousness as the Gargoyle slams her on the floor.

Eve wakes up at the camp, with no bow. She checks her hunting horn, also gone:

"Pff... If you think I'll give up like this! I'm taking this bow back!"

Eve runs up to the cemetary again and spots the Harpy with the Bow. She doesn't seem to have the horn though. As the Gargoyle tries to charge Eve again, the woman jumps on it's head to grab the bow in the Harpy's claws. Eve struggles to take the bow out of the Harpy's claws as they are going higher and higher.

"What was I thinking?"

Suddenly, Eve hears the horn. The ghost had it!

"Oh no... Please no..."

Flapping, louder than the Harpy's wings is heard as a shadow in the distance approaches.

"No no no no NO!"

The Varpam slowly flies, then stops in front of the Harpy.

"Come on! Hit her!"

Eve then looks down.

"Never mind don't..."

She can't finish her sentence before the giant bat slam the harpy with her wings. Eve finally gets her hand on her bow, as she's falling to the ground.

Eve wakes up at the camp, she only remembers falling. She looks down and see her bow... broken in two.

"Oh! Come on!"

Eve abandons the quest.

Quest successfuly ruined.
