K runs forward and leaps up on top of one of the Yellow Chocobos' backs and rides it, watching the race from on top. Most of the Chocobos are all still tied with the Red Chocobo still in the lead. One of the nearby Chocobos pecks at another and you can see it steal a white light. Another Chocobo squawks loudly and you notice the Red Chocobo up ahead starts to run at top speed, blazing a trail through the course. One of the other Chocobos starts to dash ahead quickly as well. The Red Chocobo is still in 1st with the dashing Yellow Chocobo in 2nd. The other Chocobos are all still close together and K is riding on top of the one with Snaring Thorns.

K relaxes on top of the Yellow Chocobo she rides as it activates its ability. It casts a spell and vines come out of the ground, entangling its opponents. Luckily, K avoided it by riding the Chocobo. One of the snared Chocobos activates an ability, causing holy water to rain around it. It looks like the vines were canceled out and it continues to race, tied with the vine Chocobo. The others are all tangled up and stuck in the back. By the time they escape, they're too far behind to catch up. K notices the exhausted Red Chocobo fall behind the dash Chocobo. Currently the dash Chocobo is in 1st. The Red Chocobo is in 2nd. K, the vines Chocobo, and the holy water Chocobo are in 5th behind them and the other three Chocobos are all the way in last place.

K continues to ride on top of the vine Chocobo and watches as the Red Chocobo casts a spell. A meteor drops from the sky and crashes into the dash Chocobo, knocking it out. The Red Chocobo takes back first as the dash Chocobo is quickly passed by both the holy and vine Chocobo. K then uses her ability while jumping off the vine Chocobo. Her bell rings and her eyes flash, causing the three Chocobos in the lead all to trip and crash into the ground. Making a mad dash for the finish, K ends the race in 1st place, followed by the thief Chocobo in 2nd and the cure Chocobo in 3rd. La Rena wins 12 Bonus Credits, adding them to the cash stash.

Rena snuggles K while her kitty stares into Nogeko's soul, purring in a very smug way. Nogeko sticks his tongue out at K and the party returns to the elevator, pushing the button back up to Floor 6. The elevator can be felt moving before the doors open and Tipa awaits them. It is not much different from when they last left it. Hardly any time has passed. It looks to be the evening. The sky is orange and the sun is hanging low in the sky. Which four will you send out to explore this floor?

Seiberg, La Rena, Nogeko, and K all head out of the elevator into Tipa. Seiberg heads on over to the Magic Shop, checking the prices he'll get with his discount.

Seiberg purchases a Slow Scroll, a Haste Scroll, and a Blizzard Scroll before placing them in his inventory. His allies just sort of stand around and wait by the crystal. The mail moogles dance around there out of boredom.

The party returns to the elevator and there, everyone uses their different scrolls. Nogeko learns Haste and Slow and lets out an evil laugh at all the things he could do with them. K learns how to cast Cure and seems rather pleased with her results. La Rena gives her cuddles as a reward for trying so hard to be helpful. Flurrie learns how to use Blizzard and even practices using an ice breath ability. Waite watches everyone curiously and Daniel pushes the button for Floor 5. The elevator moves and the doors open up to show Goron Village. The Pokemon Gym still stands and you don't see any police trying to chase you down. There's also a Pokemon Center, a Pokemart, a mine, and a museum here. Which four will explore this floor?

Nogeko, Flurrie, Captain Toad, and Hope all step out of the elevator. Things look about the same from when you last left. Route 1 goes back to Parrot Town and the Kokiri Forest goes in the opposite direction.

Flurrie purchases five Pokeballs for 1,000 Poke and stores them away. The party then moves onward to the Kokiri Forest. There are plenty of bug type Pokemon on the trees. Caterpie and Weedle wander around everywhere. There's also a few Oddish and Paras wandering in the tall grass. You can see their leaves and mushrooms moving around. There aren't any Pikachus that can be seen, but you do hear a flute being played somewhere. That's odd...

Nogeko casts Slow on a nearby Caterpie and...is it even moving at this point? It's so slow, it's hard to tell. Nogeko puts Caterpie in a Pokeball to claim it. There doesn't seem to be much of a struggle.
Meanwhile, Flurrie uses Lip Lock on a nearby Oddish followed by John landing a powerful Karate Chop! Oddish is quickly knocked out and Flurrie catches it with her Pokeball.
With their new Pokemon, the wild crows move on toward the direction of the flute they hear. As they continue onward, they see a red Pikachu dancing around and playing a flute. It's a Skullchu. When people get lost in the forest they turn into Skullchus. It's just watching while it continues to play.
What will you name Caterpie?
What will you name Oddish?

The entire party begins to dance along with the song while the Skullchu plays.
As it plays along, Flurrie starts to sing with it. The Skullchu begins to dance as well. After a few minutes of dancing, the Skullchu finally stops playing and tilts its head. Its ears flick slightly before it tosses something to your party. It's a Wooden Flute. It looks like the Skullchu wants to teach you its song.
Who will learn Saria's Song?

Flurrie grabs the flute as it flies toward her and holds it in a playing position while Skullchu plays the notes slowly to teach them to her. She follows along surprisingly well. With both her wind powers and performing skill, she's pretty good at playing the flute. After learning Saria's Song, the Sullchu walks slowly toward the group and climbs on Flurrie's shoulder.

Nogeko catches a Weedle in the same way as he caught his Caterpie while Flurrie poses with Skullchu. "We got a Pikachu, sugar~<3" Skullchu sits on Flurrie's shoulder happily. He refuses to use a Pokeball, however. Cthulhu doesn't like Pokeballs. While Flurrie and Nogeko are busy, Hope and Captain Toad investigate the forest, searching for water types. Hope sees a few Magikarp and Surskit in a nearby pond. Maybe those will work? Captain Toad's treasure senses are tingling as well. There's something buried beneath him...

Hope uses one of the Pokeballs on Magikarp and easily catches it. She picks up the ball and stares at it a moment. "Are you dude this thing is gonna be useful...? At all?"
Captain Toad starts to dig below him, finding a little Pokemon poking it's head out of the ground. Captain Toad dug up a Diglett! It's holding something on its head. Is that a Gold Nugget...?
What will you name Weedle?
What will you name Magikarp?

Captain Toad asks nicely for the nugget and Diglett just blinks at him a couple of times.
