The party suddenly appears, standing on a white platform that's floating in some sort of purple space. Little, black spheres float down from above and get into a battle formation. Hikuro barks at them. "Prepare for battle!"

Hikuro charges forward with fangs coated in darkness. He then leaps at one of the viruses, chomping down on it and dealing 4 damage. Neon sets its sights on another enemy before pointing its finger like a gun at them. They shoot a bolt of plasma from their fingertips, dealing 7 damage and deleting the virus. Papilla flies in and kicks the damaged virus, dealing 1 damage and deleting it easily. PB surrounds his fist in powerful gales before punching another virus. He shouts the name of his attack as he does so and deals 7 damage, deleting it. The surviving enemy virus floats forward and tackles Hikuro, dealing 1 damage.

Koto sends an order for Papilla to use Winguard and the others to attack.

Papilla activates her skill, Winguard! She flies over in front of Hikuro and spreads out her wings, enlarging them to protect him. "I'll keep you from getting hurt." Hikuro then runs forward and bites the spherical virus, dealing 2 damage. Neon then runs over and punches the same virus, dealing 1 damage. Finally, PB runs forward and lands a powerful punch, dealing 4 damage and defeating the virus.
PB lets out a victory cry. "Justice reigns supreme!" He then poses, placing both hands on his hips and puffing his chest out like a super hero.

Hikuro reaches level 2! Hikuro's Health and Speed increase by 2! Hikuro's Strength, Dexterity, and Luck increase by 1!
Neon reaches level 2! Neon's DP and Magic increase by 2! Neon's Defense, Resistance, and Speed increase by 1!
Papilla reaches level 2! Papilla's Health and Resistance increase by 2! Papilla's Magic, Defense, and Speed increase by 1!
Pootis Birb reaches level 2! Pootis Birb's Health and Strength increase by 2! Pootis Birb's Magic, Defense, and Speed increase by 1!
10 Digital Bits were added to the Main Console!
Liz seems satisfied. "Not bad, not bad. You even got some Digital Bits out of that. If you use Digital Bits, you can create new Vitmons, teach new moves to Vitmons, and do some other stuff too." She then continues to watch as the word "WARNING!" flashes in red on the screen. "BOSS FIGHT!" then scrolls across in the same font.
Another spherical virus descends from above, but this one has multiple tentacle-like appendages flailing around and it's significantly larger. Neon cheers as it appears. "Yeah! A boss fight!"

The spherical virus then swings one of its tentacles across the platform to hit everyone. Papilla quickly flies in front of Neon and spreads her wings. "No." Hikuro receives 4 damage. Papilla receives 3 damage. Papilla receives 3 damage. PB receives 4 damage. PB then jumps forward, fist surrounded in gales.
"WINDBLAST...PUUUUUNCH!" He slams his fist into the spherical virus, dealing 7 damage.

Hikuro attacks, dealing 1 damage. Neon attacks, dealing 1 damage. The spherical virus swings a tentacle across the platform, hitting everyone. Hikuro receives 4 damage, Neon receives 4 damage, Papilla receives 3 damage, and PB receives 4 damage. Papilla kicks the virus, dealing 1 damage and deleting it. "Finally, it's dead."
Papilla performs a quick loop before landing on her feet and posing for her victory.
