Amanda and Ralliado
You enter the Haunted Cathedral, weapons in hand. The sky is dark and cloudy and thunder crackles in the air. Entering the abandoned cathedral, you notice the floorboards creak and squeak and there are plenty of cobwebs in here. The stained glass windows let only eerie, colored light inside and the torches light on their own with blue fire. Rex looks around and then marches onward. "No reason to be afraid of a few ghosts."
As the party moves forward, they are soon stopped by a group of enemies.

The ghosts move first with one flying into Amanda, dealing 1 damage. The other one lets out a painful screech at Rex, dealing 3 damage. Rex then swings his sword into one of the ghosts, dealing 13 damage and defeating it. Ralliado then attacks the other ghost, dealing 10 damage and defeating it. Amanda then runs over to the Giant Spider and quickly swings her sword into it twice, dealing 6 + 6 damage and defeating it.
Victory!
Amanda reaches level 5!
Amanda earns 1 Samurai CP!
Ralliado earns 1 Rogue CP!
Rex earns 1 Samurai CP!
Mercedes earns 1 Healer CP!
The party continues on through the cathedral until they soon run into more enemies.

The enemy skeleton knight prepares to guard its allies. Rex runs in toward one of the Giant Spiders, but the Skeleton Knight jumps in the way. Rex quickly swings his blade twice, dealing 9 + 9 damage and defeating it. Ralliado runs in and quickly slashes at one of the Giant Spiders twice, dealing 8 + 8 damage and defeating it. Amanda runs over to the other Giant Spider and jumps up before hitting it with her sword, dealing 6 damage. The Giant Spider runs over to Ralliado and gives her a poisonous bite! Ralliado receives 2 damage and is poisoned! Mercedes casts Water Beam, blasting the enemy spider away and defeating it with 14 damage. Ralliado receives 2 poison damage.

The party continues along until finding themselves at the center of the cathedral. A large room with decayed statues of the gods inside. This was likely a room used for worship until this place was abandoned. Standing by the statue is what looks like a knight. "I could not protect her..." It sounds regretful. It's then, as the knight turns, you get a look at what's under the helmet. A skeleton with glowing, red eyes.
Rex takes out his sword and shield, preparing for battle. "That must be the thing we were told to take out."
Mercedes holds her staff ready. "It looks like a restless spirit. We have to help him with his journey to the afterlife."

One of the Skeleton Knights take a defensive stance. Rex charges in toward the Restless Knight, but one of the Skeleton Knights jumps in the way, holding its shield up. Rex slams his blade into it, breaking the shield before slashing again and striking down the Skeleton Knight for 9 + 9 damage. Ralliado then runs over to the surviving Skeleton Knight and slashes at it twice, dealing 6 + 6 damage. Amanda runs in and slashes at the surviving Skeleton Knight, dealing 4 damage and defeating it. The Restless Knight then begins to move. He charges toward Amanda with his blade drawn. He quickly unleashes two slashes with his blade, dealing 4 + 4 damage to her! Mercedes holds her staff high and begins chanting magic words before a bolt of lightning zaps the Restless Knight, dealing 7 damage.

(Oh, I think that's our first crit of the game.)
Rex quickly stabs the Restless Knight before tossing his blade up and twirling it before slamming it into the skull. The Restless Knight receives 4 + 8 damage. Ralliado follows his lead and quickly slashes at the enemy, but is unable to land a real proper blow through the armor. It receives 1 + 1 damage. Amanda quickly follows up with two slashes of her own blade, dealing 1 + 1 damage. The Restless Knight runs over to Rex and quickly slams his blade into him twice, dealing 2 + 2 damage. Luckily, Rex seems to have managed to block most of the damage with his shield. Mercedes then casts Fireball, throwing a ball of flames into the enemy and dealing 7 damage. The Restless Knight seems to be winding up for a strike.
