You follow the shadow around, but barely.
It's clearly faster than you.

You lose him as he starts making his way up the tree, towards the richer part of Deku City...

Suddenly, you feel a gust of wind behind you, as if something fell from above... You hear a voice and the cold feel of metal on your neck.

"Who are you? Why are you following me?"

You leave a note on your door and make your way to the tunnel. Everyone is too busy to stop you. As you want to go adventuring, you take a path that avoids Zora Domain to directly go to Zora River

(Can you officialize her name please, cause you signed up as Amiee, but you just said Aimee in your post)

You go outside, into Kakariko Village. Two other priests are trying to convince Kelly and Buck to enter the sanctuary.

The sun is setting, giving beautiful colors to the town. You can see the ranch that is under construction, the small marketplace, the popular inn/tavern hybrid and the residential area. There's some coops to hold the animals while the ranch is being built. The cuccos are chanting, the cows are mooing loudly.

There's also a path leading to the cemetary.

---Stinger---

You run away from whoever that shadow was, into the leaves, then back down to the slums. You can hear him (from his voice, he was definitely male) laughing playfully, as if this was all a joke for him.

There is more life in the slums now.

The trio from earlier now counts 5 individuals. The woodcutter is putting the logs he collected into a cart, probably planning to go sell them somewhere.

There's a family of Mad Scrubs arguing. The father wants to teach his son to hunt, but the mother insists that he's too young.

You overhear a group of four Koroks planning to go steal from people in the main city.

Finally, you see three Deku Scrubs, clearly preparing themselves to go adventuring.

The father looks angry at your intrusion for a second, but his emotion quickly changes to curiosity. The mother is definitely not happy about your meddling. The child is in between them both, seemingly confused.

"I'm a spear hunter, I wanted to share my skills with my son, but my techniques are indeed risky... Perhaps you might have more valuable lessons to him..."

The mother, seemingly outraged, shouts at her husband.

"THORNVINE! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE OUR CHILD GO INTO THE FOREST WITH A STRANGER THAT HAVEN'T EVEN PRESENTED HIMSELF?"

"Calm down, Lilypad, I'm gonna go with them. Who do you think I am?"

"An insane man!"

The mother bolts back inside the house, slamming the door behind her.

"I'm sorry mister... My name is Thornvine, my son is called Spee. I will let you teach him how to make traps if you want to come with us. In these slums, we have to stick together after all. May I ask you your name?"

"Well, Stinger...

Shall we go into the Lost Woods or do you think there's a better place to teach trapping to my son?"

"I do know my way through the weird part, but I'm not going with my son there for now.

We'll stay in the part of the woods that isn't a maze.

Are you ready to go or shall we wait for you at the entrance?"

(Your familiars can go in the shrine now and everywhere you can go, I just legitimately forgot to include them in your first post and instead of rewriting it, I found a way to just include my error into the plot)

The two priests salute you as you calm down your familiars and walk to the chicken coop. There's a lady throwing seeds at the cuccos to feed them.

"Hey there, Miss Aimee, what do we owe your visit?"

You are not really concentrated on her though, as you try to listen to what the cuccos are saying.

"IT'S MORNING! EVERYONE WAKE UP! IT'S MORNING!"

With the tone of their voices, it seems they think they are being funny.
