---Fish---
You enter the town. People are going in and out like crazy. Through the crowd, you can at least see someone praying under an alcove. There's a gate to the marketplace and an alley into the town.
---Stinger---
(I can't really let you have any material for traps, simply because that would mean your character started with more stuff than the others. I can't stop you from being creative and using your inventory chest or bedroll to make something though. As for memo... How to get through the Lost Woods will be different each time, there will be a puzzle for it, which will change everytime. I don't feel like "remember this specific path" is any fun for a forum game. And I can't really do something like "follow the music" either.)
You search for things you don't have. A bedroll, a treasure chest and clothes is pretty much all you have in your house.

Alright, time for Fish to check out the sights. Basically, the Subrosian would to keep his eyes open, and check if he could spot any additional races that might be interesting and relevant to know about. It would be best to check out what the people are praying to from afar, and how they're doing so. Still, he needed to keep a brisk pace and head through the market gate. Also, since this is a fairly urban location, Fish made sure to keep his mind on not getting pickpocketed.

---Fish---
Fish walks towards the marketplace, paying attention to anyone he can see. Other than hylians and gorons, he's able to spot some fish persons, bird people, some dark individuals with what seems like glowing runes on their body and women with jewels incrusted in their forehead.
Fish looks at the praying person on it's way to the market. He notices a pot next to the person. There's also an open door behind him.
People bumps into Fish, but no signs of being pickpocketed.
Fish makes it to the marketplace. There's an Inn, a potion shop, a weapon shop, a clothes shop, an armor shop and a bazaar. There's multiple stands around too. A food stand, a hot water stand, a fishing stand and one for which the shopkeeper seems to yell "THANK YOU!" a lot.
There's four exits, or entrances, from the marketplace. The one you came from to the south, the one to the east seems to go into the alley you saw earlier. The north exit seems to lead towards a castle. You have no idea what you'd find in the west exit.

Frankly, Fish (and his player) had a little bit of analysis paralysis. That's when someone has so many choices to make, they freeze up and don't pick anything. Basically, I guess see what kind of food the people around here like to eat - Fish's cooking skills are his main useful trait aside from his fishing, and it would be great to know what the local tastes are so he could cater to them. After all, he cannot digest fish himself.
After that, check out the fishing stand in detail, see what the proprietor is like and if they're up for a chat. And of course, check out what's on sale.

(Are you asking random people what they eat or looking at what the food merchants arr selling?)
