Yes, I believe it is. You had 23 before you bought entrance to this gate. So I subtracted five from your total and added it to my total.

Speaking of which, how does class changing work? Is it something that can be done whenever we want, restricted to out of battle, or only in the hub town (this game's Terran/Rivivi Village)?

Yoshi sucker punches the Goblin Leader in the face before you all stand around him in a circle and kick him. Wow. That's...kinda terrible. Regardless, you defeated the Goblin Leader and mercilessly beat him to death! The Goblin Leader disappears and leaves behind five Arena Coins! The girl calls out to you from inside the cage. "Hey, can you help me? I'm stuck..." You notice the key was dropped and use it to open the cage.
"Oh, thanks. You must be the ones I summoned here I guess. But um...I think I did something wrong." The girl scratches her head while looking at you. "I think I was only supposed to summon one hero. And uh...you seem a little unstable. Like you could pop in and out of this world at any moment." She turns and points to a light coming from what you assume is the exit. "Let's go that way! I'll explain everything when we get somewhere safe."
Stage 1-1 Complete!
You notice the words appear in front of you momentarily before zooming of some theoretical screen. "That doesn't usually happen..."

(At first I thought she meant the other kind of unstable given that we just finished kicking the shit out of the goblin leader. In any case are those five Arena Coins divided among us or do we each get five?)
