When Arena Coins were first implemented the name made sense since the only way to earn them was through the arena. Then Coin Blitz was added, but since it was still in the Arena folder and very clearly fit the same general theme of everything else there the name still worked. Now that there's Dimension Gates which are full fledged games using Arena Coins though the name doesn't seem so fitting. Sure, Dimension Gates are technically in the Arena Section of the site, but the concept feels more like an extension of Vitquest into a platform for games. So, now that they've gone beyond just being something from the arena, why not call them Vitcoins? It's less generic than Arena Coins and only one letter off from Vitcon, so it seems like a pretty natural name to call them.

What about the Obvious Name of Vit-Coins? Since we also gain Arena coins for Participating In games till the end.
