So I want to make a cyberpunk world set in the 80s/90s. I have something of a story set out.
So a few questions, Obviously, would anyone LIKE to see a game like this?
Second off, what would you like to see in this game?
And finally, is anyone interested in building it with me, like as a co-director?

I think a game like that needs the 80s A E S T H E T I C which would make it really rugged to convey over text.

AESTHETIC. What I am saying is that I envision conveying the incredible visual appeal of an 80s cyberpunk setting would be very difficult over text. You can't just say things like "there's a ton of neon everywhere, with corporate brands being shown off high in the sky and towers that dwarf your character leading downward to grimy, unsavory neighborhoods full of tech users". To clarify, I really love the idea, I just think it would be hard as fuck to do in this medium as opposed to a visual one. It was one thing I considered before I started Super Robot Wars, but I ultimately decided I wouldn't be doing justice to the genre. I know there are plenty of text only stories like Neuromancer and shit, but they aren't my favorites.

Could possibly just do a full on cyberpunk game without the 80/90s setting, also Could possibly give it a "Nostalgic" setting so to speak, something that has a basis in that visual appeal but is it's own unique setting.
