The Animech forces needed more prisoners to meld with theirs. Every enemy they captured made them that much stronger.
The first contingency of units breaks off, quickly Slamming into the defenses, taking them totally by surprise. Gatling guns go off automatically, and the huge buckets begin pouring tea on enemies. Many of the Animech forces are wielding bazookas, which show to be extremely effective against the defenses. Still.
The explosive sound of the bazookas and general noises of a battle quickly alert the Snails, who rush out to find out what is going on.

A snail slides into Swaltzer's quarters.
"Um sir..."
The snail is quickly interrupted by Swaltzer, who is sitting at a table drinking tea, in front of him is a huge mound of empty tea cups.
"What is it? Did mother call? Tell her I'll call her back." Swaltzer says.
"No sir, we are under attack."
"Yes, I know, mother can be very aggressive sometimes."
"No, it's not your mother sir, we are under attack by an actual army."
"HURRY! Prepare the party! Get the goody bag!"
"Sir, there's no time! We have to act now!"

Swaltzer had planned a party to pacify any attacking army, but there was no time to set it up! He could have never guessed that an army would attack him now!
The Animech forces had already gained an advantage in the surprise over the Snails. Swalzter was disordered he ordered his troops to attack. The Elites were hindered by shots form above, while many Feline and bat units rushed the enemy from the lift.
Other units were using Zap claws to knock out enemy units and capture them, were they were carrying them back down the lift.
A few walls in the factory were knocked over in the attempt to stop the defenders form swarming the attackers, it wasn't very successful, as it seemed to create more holes for the snails to exit from.
The battle was a short one. Zargen's solid plan won the day.
(I didn't go through every inch of the plan, it still happened, but that sort of detail wasn't necessary for this short of a battle.)

A quick explanation of what happened.
The majority of pie's plan was using his forces to have a party ready to pacify the Animech forces. There were to flaws in this plan. First off, there was no way Pie could have detected the enemy forces to get his party ready, second, a defending force isn't going to peacefully defeat an aggressive force.
So, I went with the rest of his plan, and what would have happened either way, just attack. Zol's plan was solid and well thought out, and while not particularly creative, that and the fact that pie had no real usable plan gave Zol a massive advantage.
Pie didn't specify what to do with is weapons, so I assume that they were unequipped, and he still has all of them.

50 Augmented Stealth Cats (Lost in the first rush to push enemies away form the lift)

20 augmented Speed snakes
10 Assorted cat peoples (They all look the same to me, you'll have to decide these)
