I meant to let it go and thwack his head again, but this is a far better outcome.
Crow wishes he had a party horn to blow at the ghost. But he doesn't. So he settles for typeless LASERS.

You shoot Doopliss with neutral lasers. He gets hit, then jumps out of his couch.
Doopliss: "Now you've down it, punk."
You can see text appear.
ISLAND VILLAIN BATTLE: DOOPLISS (MARIO)
Doopliss whistles. Two biological zombies fall down from the portal. Doopliss is running back, as if he's trying to give himself a head-start.

You are close to the house now. It's clearly a mansion. It doesn't look creepy at all. In fact, it's decorated with colorful banners.
The wraith stops at a safe distance from it and like at the church, it just stands there...

Crow's options shift to ice and each focus on a zombie while Crow focuses on the ghost. He dives down and claws at him.
Natsumi quietly observes the thing, then takes out her brush and paper to make a Sketch.
(Just in case it becomes relevant, I'm going to keep track of what she successfully sketches. Not likely unless TDS advances like a month.)

You slow down the zombies with two ice beams, but they still start moving towards you.
You dive into Doopliss, but he launches himself towards you and you both crash into each other, falling on your back.
Doopliss quickly jumps back up, you seem to have taken more damage than him on this one. Nothing major though.

Well... That's awkward, but she could probably run under it and into the mansion if she doesn't want to fight that thing. Or run back to the church.

(The wraith's obviously undead, right? If Natsumi's analysis showed something different, I'm gonna have to re-write her bit...)
Crow blinks to put the ghost between him and the zombies, then does the exact same thing as before - focuses his beams on the zombies while tackling the ghost. His soul gauge is almost full. He just needs to get hit one more time...
Natsumi finishes up her sketch and tucks it safely in her sleeve. "First shitai, now yuurei... Can I really do this without Crow?" She looks back to the church. "Not back yet? I don't have a choice, then. Purification is my duty!" She shifts to her (unnamed set with an HP regen effect) armor. It looks almost identical, with just a few minor differences. The branch that was holding her hair in a bun is replaced by a peach-shaped hairpin, and the handful of broken bells decorating the outfit are replaced by shining silver bells that jingle softly as she moves.
She produces a Magic Seal and a Retribution Seal and throws them onto the wraith.

Dark red energy surrounds Doopliss, as he takes the same shape as you. A crow. He doesn't seem to have any armor though. He doesn't seem to attack this turn. You shoot ice at the zombies again, slowing them down more. You tackle Doopliss after he transforms, as he doesn't seem to have the time to move.
Doopliss: "I'll show you how to use your own powers, punk!"
2 black crystals appear and orbit around Doopliss as he takes flight.

Natsumi transforms in front of the big crowned shadow and shoots two seals at it. It really doesn't seem pleased...
BOSS BATTLE: SHADOW WRAITH (GAUNTLET DARK LEGACY)
The tentacle-like shadows coming out of the shadow wraith all stabs Natsumi, which does quite a lot of damage. The wraith disappears in a vortex, then reappears further from Natusmi, out of Melee range. It starts moving his hand around. Small portals appear under the wraith.
It seems to really don't like these Celestial Damages it's taking.

Natsumi's fine with this being a ranged battle while she debuffs this thing into next week. She adds an Aim Seal and a Resistance Seal into the mix.
Crow strikes a "hit me, dammit" pose while he keeps shooting the zombies. Once someone's kind enough to oblige, he blinks up and targets whatever's holding the bell in place. He unleashes the full power of the Soul Cannon for 8x physical damage.

You taunt Doopliss into attacking you as he unleashes two dark beams from his crystals, activating your ability. You crash into the top of the bell. It starts shaking frantically and fall down, trapping the zombies and portal under it. Doopliss barely avoided being trapped himself. He wouldn't have been able to dodge that if he didn't copy you. You have the feeling something bad happened though...
Doopliss: "That was my only bell you kiljoy! I'm getting angry!"
For some reasons, you got a cheese inside your inventory... Who knows what it can do?

Natsumi throws more seals into the wraith, as she hears the bell toll again. The ground suddenly seems closer than it was... Snakes come out from under the wraith and charge right into Natsumi, then disappear. That did decent damage.
The most concerning thing is that Natsumi made sheep noises instead of grunting from the pain... Did she just become a sheep? She's not defeating that thing in this current situation... That's for sure.
She can hear the door behind her open. A cute voice can be heard.
??: "What is going on outside?"

Important questions.
Are Natsumi's seals still active? And is she still getting her armor's HP regen effect?

(The seals already put on the wraith are still active, but Natsumi skill list seems empty now. If the regen comes from her armor, she indeed still has it.)

Natsumi is disappointed. For three reasons. She wanted to kill this thing. And she always hoped if she got turned into an animal it would be a fox. Most pressingly, there is a distinct lack of grass to graze on this cloud. She turns to the cute voice and tries to push whoever it is back inside and away from the fight.
Crow decides there's no more time to play with Doof-lis.
Wow. I just actually looked up how much Monk's stuff increases when you don't have any armor or weapons equipped. It doubles physical attack AND adds twice your level. I wonder if it adds or multiplies first. Actually, I wonder how strong that 999,999 damage attack really is... I'm gonna figure it out.
...What was I talking about again? Oh, right. Crow switches to the Monk asterisk and unleashes Pressure Point on the ghost.
