The team soon arrives in Flora Village, seeing that the place is beautifully decorated with flowers. They seem to be growing everywhere. Pokemon and their trainers can be seen going here and there, watering their flowers. You take a moment to enjoy the scene. The signs in the city advertise the Pokemon Contests and gigantic flower park in the center of town that are a huge tourist attraction. According to Professor Pine, Professor Kukui should be over at the large hotel in the distance. You could take a chance to enjoy the sights, search for Pokemon, search for trainers, or get right to work.

For now she will call out Pika and Pidegiotto. Have Pidgeiotto see if he can find any interesting pokemon or anything suspicious.
Carrie and Pika will take a leisurely stroll around the place also taking a look around for any place of interest.

You wander around, looking for anything worthwhile. The aforementioned gardens seem open for anyone to walk through and you notice there are actually some wild Pokemon around there. The hotel where Kukui is staying can be seen as well. There's the fountain from before, which seems to be a meeting place for trainers that want to trade or battle. There's also a flower shop nearby. You notice there seems to be sign ups for some sort of tournament that will be held by the fountain.
Shade
You immediately head over to find Professor Kukui at the hotel. He meets you there, but looks around in confusion, seeing there's only one of you.
Kukui: I thought you had two other friends with you, didn't you? Well, I guess that doesn't really matter. You came here to help me out, right? Well, I've got something of a present for you.
Kukui takes out what appears to be three Pokeballs.
Kukui: There's some special Pokemon from Alola inside. I thought it would be a good way of saying thanks for watching over me while I'm here!

"They should be here as soon as they're done aimlessly wandering around town, you know how kids are."
Shade sits down with Professor Kukui.
"So, how are things in Alola? I've read the report on the Aether Incident, it sounds like your assistants were involved in quite the mess out there. Our agents had one heck of a time covering that one up, that's for sure."

Carrie will just shrug for now and head to the Hotel where the professor is. Might as well greet him before I get to caught up in anything.
