In the Year 2117, Steam-Power Technology has Reached new Heights, Eventually Replacing the Likes of Gasoline and Electric Devices for Steam-Power, However as Steam-Power was Becoming the New Power of the World, it has Awoken Something Ancient, A Race of Creatures that Live on the Astral Plane of Existence known as The Illuminate, The Illuminate Were first Discovered in the 1700s, When Steam-Power was first Booming, The Illuminate Can Control Steam, Their Goals are Unknown but They have been the Cause of many Accidents and Deaths Involving Steam-Power Technology. Once the use of Steam-Power Died down a bit The Illuminate Vanished, However with the New Raise in Steam-Power, Humanity once again must Deal with the Threat of the Illuminate.
The humans of Earth, Seeing The Illuminate as a Threat, Formed AIR(The Anti-Illuminate Regiment), Each Soldier of AIR was Equipped with Special Weapons that Used Steam Against the Illuminate, For a While it Worked, Peace was Kept and The Illuminate was Kept at Bay. However The Illuminate were a Clever Species and Figured out a Way to Create Physical Bodies made of Steam and used AIR's Weapons Against them. Many AIR soldiers Lost their Lives. Soon AIR Collapsed and was no More. With nobody to Fight for the Innocent people, The Country Leaders Prepared for the End of humanity... However the Remnants of AIR were Secretly Fighting against the Illuminate to Keep the People safe, How will it Work out? Nobody knows...
In this Game that has no Name yet You are a Remnant of AIR, Fighting a Losing battle against the Illuminate. the Game follows the Standard Turn-based Battle System with a Set of Different Playable classes with different abilities.
The Fights have a bigger Focus on Puzzle Solving then in Actual Combat, While Killing Every Illuminate you see is Possible, you are not going to have a fun time doing that. NOTE that Perma-Death is a Thing here, If your Character dies, Tough Luck, You will have to Sign up with a New Character.
Oh and it's not a Horror Game without some Horror Elements Right? You cant Forget Atmosphere and Abusing the Base Human Fears Like Isolation, The Unknown, and Vulnerability. all of these which I plan on Establishing here.
