Which two are you taking into the labyrinth, and which one are you recruiting later?
And which guide's giving you your last round of tutorials?

They're level 5, so you have 8 skill points for each. Don't bother with John's skills, he'll come in at an even higher level. I think. Probably.

It's time for another exciting episode of "Mr. Fuzz comes up with another probably overambitious idea that could either be interesting or a pain in the ass", this time with two ideas! First, if I sign five more characters up later (I'd probably at least wait a stratum or two before feeling comfortable with this) would it be possible to have them work as two different parties able to journey through the labryinth separately while still being in the same guild? I've got a few more ideas for characters and while I could theoretically just change my party lineup around every now and then this seems like it could make for a more interesting alternative. One party could be progressing the plot while the other gathers supplies, both parties could be used in tandem to help cheese certain FOE puzzles, basically everything short of having them both attack the same enemies since ten characters in a single fight that's balanced around five would be both hilariously one-sided and a nightmare to manage for everyone involved.
Second, would it be too much trouble to adapt the Wanderer class into this? I got Etrian Mystery Dungeon the other day and have been enjoying the class, and while skills like Water Walk, Untrap, and Dig would probably have to go (although Untrap could theoretically destroy damage tiles in the room instead with them respawning once everyone on that floor has left), a lot of their other skills probably wouldn't be too tough to adapt. Binding Strike could either be split into three separate skills for all three binds or attempt to inflict a random bind, Rock Toss could just be ranged bash damage, Proficiency and the other similar skills that boost recovery rate could be made into a passiveskill that heals the party a bit as they walk with higher levels healing more per tile, Blowback could force an enemy into the back row (although if there's nobody else in the front row the back row would move back up into the front row at the end of the next turn giving only one turn more than usual without enemies in the front row), and the species killers are pretty self-explanatory. Admittedly I'm not sure what you'd do for Legendary Titles, but as for Force Boost and Force Break perhaps something like: Labryinth Knowledge (Force Boost): Bonus damage of "Species Killer" moves is increased (or something like more damage to enemies registered in the Bestiary if Killer moves are restricted to one of the Legendary Titles) and enemies have a chance of dropping their conditionals even if the proper requirements aren't met if the battle is ended while Force Boost is active (half of the normal odds for conditionals or something like that so as not to render Formaldehyde poinless). Sudden Squall (Force Break): Ranged Cut (or Typeless, Almighty, whatever you want it to be) damage to all enemies while forcing them ink the back row.
If either of these ideas sound like too much trouble that's okay, I could always make the Wanderer character I've got in mind something else like Survivalist or drop them altogether, and if multiple parties doesn't sound like a thing that could work then like I said I could just change my party around every now and then (or just stick with five characters, I've only got three characters planned out for that second party so far anyways with one of them being the aforementioned Wanderer).

You can have up to... iunno. 12 members sounds reasonable. They'll grind off-screen to stay kind of leveled with you. But you won't control them directly or get items from them.
I'm not adding wanderer because I've not only never played that game, I've only played 5 minutes of similar games. Unless you count One-Way Hero, which is only vaguely kinda like it. I'm fine with adding EO3 classes because even if I've never played it, I've played the other 4 in the series and understand them more or less.

No Force Boosts? Or any field skill?
Also did you do skills for your old characters?

No Force Boosts? Or any field skill? Also did you do skills for your old characters? Necromancers or Hexers have no Field Skills. What are Force Boosts again? How many points do Mathilda and Galvin have to spend?

They've got as many points to spend as would bring them up to 8 points (or 10 for Matty), so probably like 5.
When I said field skills I meant racial skills. Which includes Force Boost. Those ones that have level requirements.
You can find the force boost list on that first post with all the classes. I should add that to the skill list archive thing...

K Force Boosts/Breaks are listed in the whatsit. Skill List thread.
Remember you can get Force Boosts at level 5 and Breaks at 15 (but you need Boosts to use them). If you don't know for sure you don't want them, you probably want them.

I should probably bring this up sooner rather than later, I'm thinking I'll probably use a Sovereign rather than a Troubador (I might still use the Troubador character I gave an early-bird cameo to, but if so he'll be joining later) since I like the character idea I thought of for her more than the Troubador idea and they might fit with my party better (might be able to survive a bit better than Finn in the front row with heavy armor, row buffs in place of party-wide buffs might not be that much of a deal-breaker for this party, Link Order and Link Order 2 from EO2U and/or Regal Radiance from 3 along with Ad Nihilo from both provide more damage including AoE damage). I just need to ask a few questions first ranging from gameplay to worldbuilding and even small story elements: What specific skills does Sovereign have? If it's based specifically off any one game I'd assume EO2U since you said you haven't played 3, but it still wouldn't hurt to see the skill tree to start planning her build. What's the specifics of royalty in this world? Is there one big kingdom the characters in the game are all (or mostly) from or is it something closer to a kingdom per race with Kald and Yggdrasil being an international area? The Sovereign I've got planned is a childhood friend of Peri's, so this determines whether she's another Birdfolk or something else (I'm thinking Earthlain or Celestrian, although if you've got a specific race in mind for the king then as his daughter that kind of decides for me). Are our fifth characters supposed to be already in the town or is there going to be another skyship getting past Yggdrasil? If it's the former then I'll probably say she was on one of the ships that got destroyed and she just made it to town after having her escape pod go off course, that seems more logical than suggesting that the Crown Princess has been in town this whole time and nobody's so much as raised an eyebrow about her being here.
