(This part doesn't really need Malefio's input)
Cinder quickly runs in and scratches the Staryu as a flash of light emits from the gem on it. Soon, a new Krabby is standing next to it. Cinder is very confused by what just happened, but doesn't have much time to think as the Krabby hits with a Water Gun. The attack hurts more than usual since he's a fire type and the green gauge turns yellow as it drops on his badge. The Staryu is soon stopped from attacking with another Water Gun as Paula zaps it with a Thundershock. The Staryu dissolves into a shadowy fog and now the group has a Krabby to deal with.

How far in the yellow is it? If it's just barely halfway, I might wait, but if it's less than that, I will use my Oran Berry. Looking at the situation now, I probably should have level grinded in Tiny Woods...

Paula will get in front of Cinder and guard him from any hits. Then unleash a thunder shock to the krabby no body hurts my friends

The Krabby prepares another Water Gun at Cinder, but Paula jumps in front of Cinder to protect him! The Krabby's Water Gun is about to hit Paula as Werp falls over and lands in front of Paula, getting water rained down on him. His gauge lowers slightly as he then rolls over and tumbles into the Krabby for a Tackle before Paula zaps the Krabby to quickly end the battle. The shadow disappears and a little song plays from everyone's badge as a flash of white light covers them all. They then notice their badges show the number six where the five used to be. They're all rather confused, but realize they probably should have trained a bit yesterday and learned more about these badges. They feel stronger though!

I think it's safe to say that the meters represent how much damage we can take, since when we were hurt, they went down. As for the numbers, this is a bit harder to tell, but that would probably be our level. The attacks we all know are those we would know at level 5, which is what it was at before we went up a level right now... Hang on, how do I know this?"
Yes, I do have a plot justification for him knowing a lot about pokemon. I won't go into his backstory too much right now (since he himself doesn't know it), but I will say this much: he's from Unova, but he's not any particular character from the games.

(He probably used to be a trainer or something. It's fine for you all to do that since you used to be humans, so I'm not questioning it. Don't go around town telling everyone though, they might think you're crazy!)

The group of Pokemon decide to move on ahead with Werp leading the way. They all continue along until something drops down from the sky. Two Pokemon fall down from the ceiling, landing on Werp and using Constrict to ensnare him in their tentacles. The two Omanyte are made from shadow as well. Werp tries shaking them off, but they're stuck. His gauge goes down a bit more and continues to slowly drop as they are on him.

Did I miss anything important?
Snorx will use Metronome on a Omanyte.
If the attack can hit multiple targets, try to concentrate on one, so we can at least get rid of one enemy.

Shoot I can't use Thunder shock it will hurt Werp. Can Paula use quick attack yet?? If not then tail whip the shadow Pokemon??? Yeah tail whip it and pick a Ivysaur and pray
