World building!
25 years ago, a party of adventurers did battle with a powerful wizard. These chosen warriors were all that stood between him and completing a ritual that would destroy their world, but grant him great otherworldly power. The heroes failed. The wizard's ritual... also failed. Instead, it tore the fabric of space and time to shreds, sending multiple worlds crashing into each other. With so many new races with different skills, technology, and cultures, it was an extremely turbulent, violent period in history.
It's 30 years after the great cataclysm, and things are finally beginning to calm down. Humans, elves, dwarves, and others live together in relative harmony. Small settlements still live in fear of raids by feral orcs, while larger cities see all manner of strange and interesting new businesses. Military expeditions - now armed with everything from tanks and rifles to swords and wyverns - are frequently dispatched to clear out monster dens from dungeons.
You'll be taking control of some of the workers at a sizable medical complex in one of the larger cities. This is an experimental, first-of-its-kind facility designed to treat everyone from pixies to dragons. A lot of treatments are still experimental, so you'll need to think on your feet, take some risks, and make a lot of guesses about what to do. Remember - you're the model that future generations will look back on. Make sure it's not as an example of what not to do.

But the First Response missions in Trauma Team's finale are so good. Where you treat a Brazilian patients, barely eek out a win, then get a cutscene of Maria realizing there's like a fucktillion more. It's also the only area of the game where your patients can die and you don't lose. Well, not counting Autopsy. And the last Diagnosis mission... And I think... two people during TC1/2?

I'm not sticking anything up Just's butt... Also I replaced Endoscopy because I have no idea how to turn it into a text-based thing since it's the most precision-based of the categories. Still not sure what I'll do about Orthopedics' rhythm-based gameplay... Autopsy and Diagnosis are just VN, easy. Surgery's all about making intelligent decisions with target prioritization. First Response is the same, but with more curveballs.

I should know because I have a few done before because of my inability to swallow food. Colooscopy is what your thinking of.

Colonoscopy's a specialized type of endoscopy. Endoscopes can go in any hole in your body! Er, except the ear, and I dunno about the nose. Or navel. Or...
...OK, so they can go through 2 holes. Also sometimes they cut new holes to stick scopes in. What's that called...? Laproscopy... or something...?
