I want to go on a date with Mally so whatever one gets me to it. I was promised a date with Mally.
I guess a reboot would be easier since everyone would be on the same playing feild plus since some of the characters are gone it would allow to restart the thing from scratch plus whoever wants to drop out can.
But it is a bummer since I have so much invested in my character and to just toss her away seems well a bummer.
But I really wanted to go on my fictitious date with Mally. A duck can quack. A duck can quack

Damn guys I just noticed this. I know things are crazy but I understand Just. With college around the corner and your dream within your reach you should focus more on real life. Though, I hope you stick around. I've lost two great friends who ran forums before. Ever since Pikmin Wars you've been awesome, always helping out and making fun ass stories. I am going to miss your writing. I still can't believe what we've brought together, all because we just happened to be on the RP boards at the right time on GameFAQs. A lot of memories and fun has been had here and on other forums as well. Good luck Just, and I hope you mange to achieve a lot. Maybe someday we'll see what you create. Count on it. When I release my games, I'll let you guys know first. |

I'd rather a reboot of TDS than a continuation, although that's mostly because I hate Robbie with a burning passion and finally being free of him by getting to make a different character instead would be so much better than trying to salvage what I consider the worst character I've ever made in an RP (which is saying something considering that I thought Smash with his personality consisting entirely of "I'm violent and crazy" was a good idea).

Robbie wasnt that bad Fuzz ball. He could be annoying but his heart was in the right place. Besides you were driven by a burning desire to rain Flaming Sheep Meteors on your foes.
Its the best reason to want to have a character

Yes, but the problem was that he was in a bit of an awkward position where I couldn't RP him as a joke character well because there wasn't a whole lot of material, but I also couldn't have him be a serious character because the whole concept of him was ridiculous and I threw his backstory out there all at once during the cringeworthy mental breakdown I made him have because I was feeling pissy. It's also kind of a hassle making new skills for him and his accent was a pain in the ass.

Okay, here's my take on this. With Just relinquishing role of running games, that severely sinks the man hours spent hosting games. Honestly, I think we need to be less focused on saving his games by putting additional work burden on the other members, and more focused on saving this entire site. Let's be real - Just is the pillar. In chatrooms, when we convene for activities, if he is not there, the most common question is "Where's Justice?" It's full on Poochie style level of centralization and importance. Now, here's the thing. I came to this site when it was supposedly in decline. I have never seen Vitcon in its golden days. But I have been in sinking communities, and the pillar around which the community is built stepping down is almost always a horrendous sign. We can try to say that we will all take up the mantle, but this is not realistic given that many of us are already strained in our responsibilities.
If we want to save Vitcon, we need to first acknowledge that it needs saving. And now, not when Just's minimized role has diminished overall participation even further. This site is important to me, as are the games hosted here. Activity is a must, and a rising tide raises all ships.

As much as I appreciate the song, I'd rather have votes. And I don't particularly need a sexy Spock in the maps database... though I guess EOC has enough players. Could always use more for Dating Sim, though.

I was gonna say use positioning to combo into stronger moves. For example...
Rope Climb: Climb up the side of the battlefield to a high place to evade physical attacks this turn
Body Slam: Leap off a high place and slam into an enemy for heavy damage. Can only be used after Rope Climb.
