SO, I'm actually thinking of doing this. This won't be some half assed idea. It's something I would actually love to do. LISA the Painful is my favorite RPG game of all time, and probably one of my favorite games of all time. I was thinking about setting it in Olathe after Buddy has wiped out all the warlords and can now control the mutant hordes with Yado's trumpet. Players can team up in parties of four with NPCs and attempt to save the last of humanity from succumbing to perverts and dipshits!

Yeah it's a great game. I haven't played any of the fan games yet but I hear a few of them are super good.
So a few more ideas:
1. A world without brad and everyone is trying to find Buddy, the last woman in the world
2. A World with Brad, but the same as above
3. An Olathe were not all woman disappeared, but are just in hiding (After LISA The Joyful)
4. Buzzo never died and is slowly rebuilding his gang to take over the world (Also after the joyful)

To be honest I kind of do as well, since Buzzo actually mentioned that the woman where just hidden at the beginning of joyful.

Haven't played LISA yet. Always forget I need to get it. But interested to join this Beware mal, it's not for the faint of heart. It's massively offensive and super violent. There is no joke a part where the game forces you to accidently burn orphans alive. It's optional though, Just don't enter any strange holes in the walls and you should be okay.

sounds like it would require us to have played the game Not really true. I could definitely do it without needing any of the previous story other than what happened with Buddy, and that could easily be explained in the intro or first chapter of the game. Lost kingdom was set in Final Fantasy, right? I've never played final fantasy before and I did just fine.

Ummm never heard of it before.... It's an amazing game inspired by Earthbound. You can get it on steam for about 5-10 dollars. The ending actually made me cry a little, and you know how crazy I am. nothing upsets me. EVER.

It's really not anything like Earthbound at all, despite the stated influence.

It's really not anything like Earthbound at all, despite the stated influence. I'm not either, but LISA is only Earthbound in it's play style and to a certain extent it's design. The story and characters in my opinion are way better. It's truly an experience that I just couldn't pass up. After watching the trailer on steam I had to have it, I waited for almost a month before buying it and I'll tell you know the value of the game is really something around 25-30 dollars. It's one of the most brutal and emotional games I've ever played. No game has ever managed to make me cry before. But LISA actually did. Guess I gotta set my man card away now.
