Rank 1 of a relationship basically means "I am aware of your existence." More than anything it's just so that I know I can stop calling them "blonde-girl without a tennis ball" and "pink-haired girl" and start using their name when writing from your perspective. I'm not even gonna announce it usually. I'll also do stats at the end of day.
Kiiiitty. Now that people are in multiple locations, can you move threads around and add sub-folders to make the organization more like the original?

Rank-ups at level 2 and higher give you skills. Those'll get announced as they occur.

I started imagining twoof the NPCs that are running for president giving their speeches and it devolved to
"Vote for me or I'll break ya fuckin' kneecaps."
"Yeah? Vote for her and I'll kick ya fuckin' teeth in."
...I really need to add a third not-Karl candidate so they have a reason not to literally kill each other on-stage...
