He puts a bit of whimsy in his goice when he responds, "Well, fuck it. Why not? Just don't expect any Shakespearean-level performance." He smirks at the end to try and add a bit of charm, despite the fact he was still cursing internally.

Mattea quickly presses against you and wraps around your arm. She raises her voice a half-octave. "Oh, Darling. What a lovely idea this was. Such a lovely day for a picnic, so long as it doesn't rain. I made sandwiches - would you rather sit at the shelter? Or stretch out in the grass?"
Leia
"Alright. You're hired. Can you start Saturday? I don't have anyone to cover the evening shift."
Levi
"Heck yeah! It's a date. But first we gotta pull some weeds! Man, you're gonna be sore in the morning!"

Karl knocks on the wall, and opens a compartment to reveal a blue duffel bag. Taking it out, he opens it to show a large plethora of pop-tart flavors and several gallons of whole milk. Karl shoves about half of it into his pockets.

Tai is caught off guard, but contains himself, thinking on his feet.
"Oh, well a picnic on the grass sounds, just lovely, doesn't it darling? And if it wishes to rain, then let I say! For at least I shall be soaked with you, my dearest." Tai speaks in a swoony voice of a more refined man, echoing the slightest tpuch of shakespeare. Okay, so maybe he'd read a few of his plays in his down time, but who hadn't, right?
He looks down at Mattea as he speaks, a charming fake smile plastered across his face as he does his best to live within the scene and make it convincing. He holds her a bit tighter, and keep the position up as he walks towards the "grass".
