Levi leads the two girls to his house after school. As he heads inside, his headphones, sitting around his neck, play a song loud enough to be heard without wearing them.



The house seems to be a little bit of a mess. But in a cozy kind of way. Soft blankets seem to be everywhere, either on the couch or placed on tables and such. A single television with the newest Nontendo system is sitting in the living room. It looks like there's only a couple games for it. Nario Illyad and Legend of Zejda: Breeze of the Untamed. The furniture mainly consists of a comfy armchair and the already mentioned couch with blankets on it. "Welcome home, I guess." Levi smiles a bit. He already managed to make some friends and they even came home with him after school.

"Um. There's a couple cats in the living room if you want to spend some time with them." He points out a coon cat walking through the living room and an abnormally large and fat tabby that's blobbing out on top of the armchair. It's so fat the chair is tilted backward slightly. "The big one is Pipsqueak and the coon cat is Muddy. I have two other cats, but one of them's kind of shy. She's in my room if you want to see her."

Levi drops his stuff off at the front door, dropping the bag and hanging up his hoodie. He takes his shoes off and wanders around into the kitchen in his socks. "If you guys are thirsty or something, I can get you something..." The kitchen table and counter seems to be cluttered with all manner of random junk. Mail, boxes of stuff, some groceries, and one particular section of the counter seems to be full of wine bottles. Almost like a little collection. The sink is full of dirty dishes. Levi heads over to the fridge and opens it up. Er...It's mostly just water to drink. There's some milk. The rest seems to be assorted condiments, which are useless on their own. "...I have water. And milk. And...that's about it unless you want to drink a jar of blueberry jam."

Levi turns and waits to hear a response from the other two before shutting the fridge.

At some point, Katie probably mentioned her name.

Katie shrugs at Morgan.  This upsets the two cats that are already perched on her shoulders.  She takes a seat on the couch and Ms. Floofytail hops out of Morgan's bag and into her lap.  "I dunno, they just love me."  She looks toward Levi in the kitchen.  "Um...  I'd love a glass of milk, if that's OK?"

Switch that last bottle of water with a glass of milk. And it's handed to Katie, not tossed to her.

Levi shakes his head. "Not really. Some other people feel that way too. It's not something that I'm bothered by, but I can understand why it would make some people feel that way. You probably just really care a lot about animals."

Morgan
"If i could borrow the first book for now, that would be really nice,"
Morgan says to Levi.
"Oh no not at all," Morgan says.

"I could understand how some would be upset about that,". "But I don't know the idea of going on an adventure with your best buds and sharing a journey together,". "Just 14 nothing but the environment and your friends and your partners," Morgan tells Catie.
"Plus they even have these special types of competitions where you and your animal friends get all dressed up and put on a show in front pf everyone,". "The way trainer and critter seem to be fun and having a good time together, and the smiles they bring to everyone,".

"Oh yeah I heard of bag beasts, I really love that little yellow mouse that is the spokesmen of it,". "Oh my mom would get me all the latest Bag beasts merchandise and games plus I managed to bring over with me a couple of bag beast plush,". "One of that mouse creature and another of that fairy like creature the cute pink one,".

"Oh but my dad he well," Morgan's expression turns to a bit of anger and sorrow at his mention. "Never mind him he's over in Japan and I am over here away from him," Morgan says. "Sorry about that," Morgan says sheepishly.

"Anyways, Catie do you have a lot of pets at your home?" Morgan asks Catie.

Ms. Floofytail is in Catie heaven and is totally oblivious to her surroundings.

Karl screamed until he reached the familiar crunch of dead grass. Looking up, he saw the grand house on the hill that his dad had built a few years ago! It was quite a long house, resembling a southern Antebellum mansion, with about nine yellowed pillars holding up a decaying wood upper floor. The porch area was completely bare, and many areas along the wall were patched up with brown, wooden planks, contrasting with the white house terribly. What should have been a grand staircase was replaced by a latter that you had to climb up to get to the front door, which was a piece of wood you had to push really hard.

After doing this excersize, Karl walked into the main room. It had high ceilings, and grey staircases leading up to even greyer areas. Nothing was in the house except for a puke-green couch, torn from excessive use, and an old 1980's television about two feet away from it, plugged into the wall by a series of extension cords, each with a wildly different neon color. Walking to the couch, Karl sat down and ate a dinner of about seven pop-tarts of all varieties and a gallon of whole milk. Then, he noticed something strange.

"Where's the trash bag with the VHS stuff in it?" Karl said, looking down at his knees. Pausing, thinking, Karl sat down for an excruciating five minutes, before coming to an explosive conclusion.

"He must have took it to the VHS rewinding place," Karl said, finally satisfied. Well, now that he couldn't watch VHS, Karl really had nothing to do. His dad did want him to be more social, so maybe he could try his luck with the mall?

Popping open a fresh gallon of milk, Karl began on his journey to the shopping center.

"Oh. That was fast." Levi seems happy despite Katie charging out the door. "I guess I did a good job today then. I already made two friends..."

He realizes Morgan is still here, holding his manga. "O-Oh. If it's okay I guess. That I call you my friend. I think. Um. We're friends, right?" Levi is awkward again. "Um...Do you...Do you want to walk to school together in the morning? It would probably be safer. And...we don't live too far from each other..."
