You head into the woods to meditate on not being weird. Being this close to nature helps you feel A bit more relaxed, so you rehearse a few simple social scenarios...

You think you can do the saying hello thing. Maybe.

Gain an Understanding.

By the time you make your way back out of the forest, you find it's getting late. You decide to call it a day.

"what was that about? And what do I do with this Key?"

Now im sorta Annoyed. carrying this key for a while, having no clue what it unlocks, and most of all, not knowing why it glows.

Im going to find answers about this key. maybe those two that ran past know something. I know they seem budy but at this point I want answers.

You head to the park and look around. You don't recognize anyone here from school, or anywhere else. Except one of the girls who was at that soccer celebration party last night. She goes jogging past without noticing you.

It is pretty early in the morning.

You walk around the park for a while.  It's a nice park, all things considered.  You feel like you get a better idea of the layout of the place, including some of the nature trails through the woods.  The time around nature makes you feel more relaxed.

Gain an Understanding.

When you come out of the woods, you find a few people you vaguely recognize have showed up.

The mousy blonde girl with the glasses you saw in the arcade is working on what looks like a drone.

A kid in a straw hat - you recognize him from the party last night - is setting up a picnic.  Alone.  By himself.  He gets about halfway done, then stops, slaps himself in the forehead, and starts packing up.  Looks like he just realized something.

And last you notice that tan-skinned upperclassman that wears the poofy white blouse, purple skirt, and lots of golden bangles.  You almost missed her because she's perching in a tree, watching people pass by.  You remember she was in the cafe last night.  Drinking coffee.

You ask straw hat what he's doing.

"Eh. I have a picnic with my friend here sometimes. But I forgot she wouldn't be here today," he answers. "Huh? Wait. Who even are you?"

Alex

"Oh. Yeah? I didn't notice you. Things kinda crazy. What with that weird prank or whatever," Lance says. "Man. Sucks. I was enjoying hanging out with everyone, too."

Alex

"Pffft. You don't really believe those people saying it was a monster or whatever, right?" Lance laughs. "Come one, mannequins don't move like that. It was all just some stupid... hoax... prank gone too far. The cops are only investigating because someone got hurt. And, man, I'd hate to be whoever set that up when they get busted. Though I'm kinda curious how they did it."

He leans in closer. "Though I did hear that apparently someone deleted all the camera footage from last night. Actually, now that I think about it, that might be why the cops are really looking into this."
