While you're fishing, you hear that obnoxious voice that announces Kiran arriving. Oh, and he has a friend. Avalon.

"Hey is anyone busy tonight. I am meeting with some fortune teller lady who said something about the mall having a portal thing like the school had. Would anyone like to join me so we can get material and stuff?"

"The strategy," Lance says without hesitating. "Formations and whatnot. Training methods. All the prep that goes in before the game that people don't think about."

You arrive at the park. You immediately notice two girls wrestling. You're pretty sure one of the two is the head of the wrestling club, so that's probably fine. The other is one of the blonde-haired seniors. You haven't seen her around very much, she tends to keep to herself.
Floyd and the kid who always wears the straw hat are sitting together fishing near a small pond.
Kiran and the head of the drama club are sitting at a table chatting.
And you notice someone duck into the forest. Female, black hair. Upperclassman. You know you've seen her around before. Japanese-sounding name. Natsuki or something.

Floyd's eyes light up at Lance's reply "That's so cool you're like team mastermind after all Freya's more..." Floyd considers his next words carefully for a moment "A forward commander and your our brilliant tactician that's rad" he adds excitedly.

Lance crosses his arms, holding the rod with his legs. "Yeah, well, being the 'forward commander' is important, too. The coach can't always be there to just give orders or whatever. A lot of the match is dependent on the players' abilities to respond and adapt to changing conditions on the field without direction from the coach, so whoever the de facto leader is has to be able to rally everyone." Lance looks annoyed. "Playing the game while also considering everything else and keeping track of the opponent's movements is too much for me. Yet."
