You head to the park and find you managed to beat Zack. He shows up a few minutes later with a pair of gloves, a bat, and a ball. "Hey. Didn't think you'd want to do anything else together, but... Yeah. So. Want to warm up with some tossing, or get to batting practice?"

"What's scary about batting? You almost never get hit. The scary thing is pitching when that big ball's being hit at you stupid fast," Zack says. "And even then all you have to do is dodge. Besides, even a direct hit's only gonna hurt and leave a bruise for a few days."

"OK, I guess doing this for a bit should help you get used to the idea," Zack says. "Uh, but let's be clear. You're not throwing the ball at me, you're throwing it to me. So aim a bit up and to the left of me. Right here." He waves his glove at your target point and you toss the ball. It grazes his glove and goes a bit high, and Zack goes running off to get it. He comes back, ball in hand. "Alright, I'm gonna toss it back. Ready?"

Zack tosses the ball back. Leia tries to catch it, but panics and misses the ball. She has to run over to catch it. "It's fine, just keep trying," Zack says. After a bit more practice, Leia manages to grab it out of the air. "There, see? Easy."

You arrive at the park. Somnis silently follows you the whole time, never more than a step behind you. Always watching, always judging... and she seems to be waiting to see what you'll do now.

You take off running, and it's quickly apparent that you're too fast for Somnis to catch up to. It's all she can do to keep you in sight. You keep a good lead on her, then realize you don't hear her anymore. You look over your shoulder and don't see her, either. When you turn back around, she's suddenly inches from your face. "Tag," she says, poking you.

You go chasing after Somnis. You're handily gaining on her as she ducks around a tree, and... disappears. You know she went around this thing. It's not very big, either. You walk around it a few times, looking up and down the thing. Nothing. No Somnis. And then she steps out from behind another tree and keeps running. You get the impression she's cheating... somehow.
