Odette runs to Elegar and slashes her, while Degearabia uses Fear Beam at her. The status effect doesn't work. A giant vine comes out next to Iri, whom is immobilized by fear. He gets smashed by it.
Tina: "Okay. That's enough. Elegra doesn't look very healthy right now. You fools stop fighting before Grumble stops you okay?"
Odette feels like she got a lot of experience out of this, Elegra feels like she got a bit too. Tina is looking at you two with a serious glare in her face. She seems to have medical supplies in hand.

You destroy the last golem by shooting Nebby herself into it with an Astral Orb. It hurts Nebby a bit and the Training Golem was obviously weak, but you can feel that doing such a cooperative attack was quite powerful, thanks to the noise of the crash.
Three more golems move forward. They seem to be waiting to see if you'll fight them.
(Tutorial: Everything you don't put in your Compendium will be forgotten by your character.)

Odette seems to suddenly not have her scythe anymore. Hard to tell where it went. Gear seems to be done for now. At least, it seems like that. Hard to tell with him constantly making the same facial expression. Odette seems to reflect the blank expression. Actually...she looks kinda bored now. It didn't take long for her interest in the fight to wear off. Well...kinda. She had a pretty blank expression while fighting too. She just seems to be constantly bored.
Either way, she doesn't seem like she's going to attack anymore. She simply stands there and attempts to patch up her injuries and her Note Beast's injuries with the provided medical equipment.

If Elegra's confused enough to attack herself and her partner while he's hiding (seriously, I'd be less annoyed if she'd hit some random teacher), I see absolutely no reason she wouldn't continue to attack the first person to come within arm's reach. Or stab herself.

Or stab herself. (I was legit annoyed myself. I RNG'd your targets and it ended up being Iri, you, then Iri again. Also, confusion affects your target selection, I was just making sure Odette stopped. The teachers will fix you after my lunch) |

I understand how it works. If Odette had the chance whether or not to keep fighting, then I'm assuming she does, too. And she has to use a skill.
So she'll keep attacking.

Tina sprays Elegra, removing her confusion.
Tina: "Can I safely heal you and your Beast now?"
Elliara: "Odette... Next time, you should ask for training before attacking, okay? You never know how someone will act."

(How could she hit him? She's rooted in place and swinging her sword, and he's hiding. I was counting on her hitting herself... Meh, whatever. It's not actually going to change anything.)
Elegra looks around in a stupor. "I... What... have I...?" She grabs her head and retracts the vines coming from her legs. She looks around and sees Iri cowering in the corner. She immediately runs to check on him. "Iri!"
He squawks in protest and retreats from her.
"...Iri? What's wrong?"
