Holy shit, I just realized that you gave Flame Bomb an actually useable TP cost instead of a ridiculously expensive 15 TP. Thank you, now I can use it as more than an emergency nuke.
Finn uses Flame Bomb with whichever Wraith didn't attack (gotta reward that one for putting effort in by allowing it to continue existing) while Lily heals Aria, Peri attacks the 80% Roper, and Fluffykins attacks the full health Roper.
"Burn in Hell!"
Finn gestures with his hand at the chosen Wraith as it suddenly ignites, starting with small fires across its body and gradually growing until the entire Wraith is engulfed in flames. As it charges right between the Ropers it suddenly explodes out into a massive fireball, leaving only ashes where the undead fiend once stood.

Lily throws some healing herbs towards Aria. "That really helps..." she admits. Peri shoots the injured roper. Fluffykins attacks the other. Aria's managed to make enough slack in her bonds to lunge forward and follow up with a slash. Finn has a momentary power trip as he explodes one of the wraiths. Both of the ropers disappear in the blast.

Obtained Thorny Vine x1, Forked Tusk x1, Shattered Shell x1When you finish, you head onward. Aria shortly holds her hand up to call for a halt, then points at a large tree. "Check it out! See that tree? There's some more useful stuff over there. We can harvest it, but it's kind of loud... There's always a small chance monsters will overhear us and try to ambush us. Wanna try and grab some stuff?" |

"Giving it all I've got!" Wolf unleashes his Force Boost, calling forth a powerful dragon.
As the dragon descends from above, Sol scrambled backward into the back row to avoid getting crushed. "Whoa!"
Luna then activates her Force Boost as well. "Let's see you survive this!" She creates a Poison Circle.
Alice is then surrounded in flames as she transforms, activating her Force Boost. "GO AWAY, STUPIDFACE!" She unleashes a powerful wave of flames from her hands on the enemies.
Wolf moves in and stabs the hawk in the front.
Sol smacks the same hawk.

While the party thinks about whether to harvest from near the tree or not, Lily tugs on Finn's robe to get his attention.
"Hm?"
"Your back feels kinda funny, mister."
"What are you talking about?"
"When I was healing you, your back felt all rough and scratchy and stuff."
"Oh, that... Don't worry about it, it's nothing. So, are we gonna sit here twiddling our thumbs all day or are we gonna make a decision about this tree?"
Peri thinks for just a few seconds longer before deciding. "We'll have the tiger -"
"Mister Fluffykins", Lily interjects.
"Right, my apologies. We'll have Mister Fluffykins keep watch while the rest of us search for anything of value."
The group (minus Fluffykins) start searching around the tree.

Guild Fuzzy BunnyThe guild bonds over harvesting some plants. Aria stays at the back and lets you practice. "Good, just cut here. That should be long enough. Alright, leave the rest so it'll regrow by tomorrow. Easy, right?" Received Spiraling Vine x3, Ivied Vine x2"Now, then. On to those herbs!" Aria comes to a halt a bit further ahead. "Huh?" Ahead is a small clearing. You can see several patches of herbs. In the middle of the clearing, there's a Forest Folk woman kneeling with her eyes closed. She's wearing long dress-like leggings originally from eastern countries. Her chest is covered in nothing but a wrap bound around her chest. "Is she... dead?" Her eyes snap open. She grabs a sword lying at her side and raises it into a battle stance. She silently starts approaching the party. Monsters come creeping out of the forest. "Watch out!" Aria warns her. But the monsters don't attack. They form up at her side instead, creeping forward with her. "Wh-what...? Hey, what's going on!?" The woman leaps forward to attack. Enemy Formation

BURST: 435% Guild Red Eyes"Ah-ha-ha-ha!" Liandra leaps forward and slashes the hawk and hound at once. Alice suddenly bursts into flame and spews fire from her palms. It strikes the enemies several times. As the fire dies down, her true, demonic form is visible. "Aw, so cute!" Liandra says. She wipes a tear from her eye. "I'm so proud of my destructive little protegee." The Kitty pulls out a bow and quickly takes a shot at Wolf. It really hurts... The acorns both crash into Alice and Liandra. Wolf unlocks an effigy sealed in a special container. He tosses it to the ground, and a giant monster drops from the sky. It's got a giant head, huge head and long tail, short arms - and teeth. So many pointed teeth... It screeches and smashes the hawk and wolf aside with a flick of its tail. Wolf and Sol both bash one of the acorns. Luna summons a circle. One of the acorns is poisoned and takes a lot of damage. Enemy Formation

Finn rolls his eyes in annoyance.
"Great, a crazy chick with a katana attacking us alongside her pet monsters is exactly what this trip needed."
As Finn uses his last remaining Wraith as another living firebomb, Fluffykins lets out an angry roar towards the encroaching hoard of monsters. Lily reaches into her apron and throws another ball of leaves, this time containing an eye-irritating pollen which engulfs the Ronin and her Rabid Acorns. As all of this is going on, Peri spreads her wings and flies up into the air while taking out a second pistol.
"If a fight is what you wish for, then so be it! En Garde!"
While airborne Peri fires at the Ronin's arms with both guns, pushing herself back slightly from the recoil before righting herself.

(Decided to spice Force Boosts up a bit theatrically, at least for my own characters. While much like skills they may not get a detailed description every time they're used after the first, generally I'm going to try to come up with something that both explains why the Force Boost works the way it does such as Peri using a gun in each hand here while also adding music because if the Fafnir Knight can get a theme-music power up then why not? Granted, the Fafnir class is also based entirely around said Force Boost, but I'm choosing to ignore that detail for now because I want to include music. I'm going to try to stick to Etrian Odyssey music while also picking songs that thematically fit, hence Peri's song not only being from the game where Gunners and Birdfolk originate but also from the stratum where the latter are first seen.)

Guild Fuzzy BunnyAria starts dancing a Counter Samba. Peri jumps into the air and pulls out a second gun. Aria grins as she twirls back to face her. "Nice, Per-bear! I was just about to suggest trying something like that! But your war cry could use some work. Oh, and don't forget you can still order everyone to use the Burst skills!" The Ronin leaps at Finn, only to get two shots to her arms. She freezes mid-attack. Looks like whatever she was doing got interrupted. Lily tosses out some vials of smoke, and Fluffkins screams. One of the acorns lunges at the sound of the roaring and misses. The other tackles Lily. The ropers swing at Fluffy and Aria. Finn points to his Wraith and makes it go BOOM. Enemy Formation

Peri and Fluffykins tag-team the Ronin at the start of the turn with Double Attack, then Fluffykins continues attacking her with Tiger Blow while Peri shoots a pair of Flame Rounds at Roper B. Lily throws another Dark Smoke at the front row in the hopes of blinding the other two (speaking of the front row, did the Flame Bomb miss the Rabid Acorns or did they somehow manage to completely tank it?) and Finn summons another Wraith since he's all out.

Peri does one last two-shot combo of Flame Rounds on the remaining Roper before landing on the ground and putting her second gun away. She's worn out from her clumsy performance of aerial combat, but she keeps her remaining gun trained straight ahead all the same. Meanwhile Fluffykins jumps forwards and claws the Ronin in the chest (standard attack) while Lily quickly applied some Healing Herbs to Finn's injuries while riding past him. Finn summons another Wraith.

"So...What should we do with this guy?" Luna walks over, closer to him and helps Liandra poke him with a stick.
"Uhhh...He's a meanie right? So we kill himmmmm!" Alice says this with pure childlike joy and innocence.
Sol inspects him. "Hm. It may be safest to dispose of him. Who's to say he won't attack us again if he wakes up?"
Wolf thinks on it, looking at him and shakes his head. "No. This...I don't think this person wants to hurt us. Or rather...something about his behavior seemed off." He carries the unconscious kitty on his shoulder. "We're taking him back to town."
Luna ceases to poke him. "Eh? You sure about that, big guy? What if he gets up and starts shooting people?"
"Then we'll stop him. But it doesn't feel right to just...kill him like that. We need answers." He looks at the cat on his shoulder.
Sol nods. "Information is useful. Perhaps we could question him when he wakes. Besides, he shouldn't be dangerous if we confiscate his weapons." He heads over and strips the cat of all equipment. "I'll make sure to heal his burns as well."
"Wowww! I did a good job! He's all scorchy!" Alice seems proud of herself. She puffs up her chest.

Guild Red Eyes"Yes, he's very scorchy. You did a very good job." Lianna pats Alice's head as she reverts to her normal, cutesy form. Sol patches up his injuries. Yes, he notices. They're both correct. He is indeed very scorchy and Alice did a very good job. When he takes the guy's gear, he sees it's pretty standard beginner-level equipment for an adventurer. Lianna runs after Wolf as he walks off. "Hey, are we gonna just take him back to town? I know we found a lake-thing, but maybe we should follow it back to the source? There could be something cool! (Like more monsters to carve up...!) It's your choice, though." Guild FuzzAria attacks one of the nuts. Peri takes down the other roper with two more shots. The Ronin jumps forward and slices Fluffy this time, and Aria counter-attacks her. Fluffy follows up with a slash of his own. The Ronin collapses to her knees. Lily applies some herbs to Finn's wounds. The nuts both leap forward, one of them managing to knock into Finn and the other missing wildly. Finn summons another Wraith. Neither of them seems to be in the mood to do anything right now. Enemy Formation

Sol nods. "I can only do so much out here alone. If we want to make sure this therian survives, we need to bring him back for proper care."
Luna and Alice can't find a reason to argue back, so Alice pats Liandra on the head. "It's okay, birdy. We can fight more meanies another time!"
