Liandra leads the newly formed Red Eyes guild into the labyrinth. "I think... I think I remember water this way..." she mutters to the guild. "Let's go this way. Yeah." She mutters to herself quietly as you all walk. Some of it seems like it might be useful advice. Stuff about Taking, Field Skills... Alice, if she's paying attention, might be able to pick some of her rambling up from her place on Liandra's shoulders. "Monsters...!" Liandra suddenly says. She seems extremely excited as she picks Alice up and holds her in the air in front of her. "Hey, you know how to use Burst Skills, right? It's what separates us adventurers from the monsters. Use Double Attack with me and let's burst down one of the strong enemies. Show me how good you are at murdering, my little protegee! The best part is you still get to attack again afterward! Attacking over and over until the enemy's nothing but rust on your blade is just the best, isn't it?" She sets Alice down and pats her head. She flicks her scythe as a group of monsters come crawling out of the bushes. Enemy Formation

Alice will use Flame Sabre on Forest Turtle. "You're in my way, meanie!"
Wolf stabs at the Charging Boar. "Stand aside!"
Sol attacks Charging Boar. "Begone!"
Luna attacks Charging Boar. "Get outta here!"

"It's my turn!" calls. "No-o-o-o, together!" Liandra reminds her. Alice and Liandra unleash Double Attack on the Charging Boar! Liandra slices deep into its skin, and Alice follows up the attack on the same spot. It does a lot of damage. "Oh... You've got potential... Heh heh heh..." Liandra swings her scythe and slashes both of the writhing masses of tentacles in the back as she chuckles. Alice turns to the turtle. "You're in my way, meanie!" Wolf, Sol, and Luna all gang up on the poor boar before it knows what hit him. "Stand aside!" "Begone!" "Get outta here!" One of the ropers whips Liandra. She gasps. In a way that Alice shouldn't understand. The other Stomps the ground and sends vines wrapping up Sol's legs. The turtle withdraws into its shell and boosts its defense. Enemy Formation

You head into the entrance of Yggdrasil. It's a huge change from the town. The air itself feels heavier. Muggy. The soft scent of the sea is replaced by the smell of loam and plants.
"Ah... I missed this." Aria takes a deep breath. "Well, let's get moving."
(Presumably you have a certain something you want to do now, so I'm not gonna throw you into a battle. Yet.)

The party froze dead in their tracks at the sound of rustling plants and a low growl. A pair of feline eyes became faintly visible through the brush, and while Peri and Finn readied their weapons Lily instead did something completely unexpected.
"It's a big kitty!", she shouted, rushing into the dense foliage! This seemed to surprise the source of the growling as well, as the eyes vanished with Lily in pursuit. In a panic, Peri chased after the small botanist with Finn casually following behind.
"So I know I said most of those other losers back in town weren't worth our time, but if little miss no-sense-of-self-preservation here kicks the bucket we should probably think about finding a replacement."
"Can we please focus on trying to save her before we worry about replacing her?", Peri replied with no small amount of anger in her voice.
"Hey, in just saying we should have a backup plan in case something... What."
As they spilled out into an open clearing the two came face-to-face with Lily, lying on the back of a large white tiger with one arm reached out gently scratching the beast behind the ears. Judging by the confused and annoyed look on the tiger's face it clearly had no idea how exactly she got up there either. Peri slowly began approaching the beast to retrieve its passenger, but after a warning growl she took a step back.
"Lily, dear, is everything all right?"
"Yep! I made a new friend!"
"That's... That's great, sweetie."
"Can we keep him?"
"That's, uh... Probably not a good idea."
"Pleeeeeeeease?"
(SP Allocation for Mister Fluffykins is up. If you'd like to throw me into a battle with some monsters now I'd be okay with that, it would probably make for a great way to show off what he's capable of and help change Peri's mind.)

This was met with a shrug from Finn, no reaction whatsoever for Lily who wasn't even paying attention at this point, and while difficult to say for sure even the tiger seemed to shake its head in disagreement. "You cannot be serious... Fine, if you can get the tiger to follow us WITHOUT trying to kill everyone than you can keep it."
"Yay!", Lily replied with a shout. "Come on Mister Fluffykins, let's go!"
As the group continued onwards, Lily pointed forwards from atop her new steed. Deciding that if he followed them they would draw his prey to him and he could probably leave whenever he wanted to without anyone being able to stop him, the tiger now reluctantly known as Fluffykins lumbered along behind the others.

Guild Lunatic Red EyesWolf commands everyone to rush the enemies. The Forest Turtle proves annoyingly resilient and tough to crack with physical attacks. It casually walks up and bites Sol while he bashes it. Alice gets her turn to get whipped by one Roper while the other grabs Liandra's legs. She really seems to be enjoying herself. The enemies finally fall, but the party takes some damage during the fight. Allied Formation

BURST: 440% When the last enemy falls, Liandra stands over the boar's corpse, slicing it a few more times with a sadistic gleam in her eye. "Here, we can use some of the things we take off the corpses of the monsters we kill." O-oh... So that's what she was doing. Obtained Thorny Vine x1, Forked Tusk x1, Shattered Shell x1Then she stops and licks some of the blood off the tip of her scythe. "Ah... I missed this so much...! M-more... Come, come! There should more up ahead...!" Liandra goes sprinting forward like a child in a candy store. She pauses and points to a patch of wood. "We could stop and cut some more material from this thicket, probably... There's a risk of being attacked by monsters, but the risk is very low. Unfortunately... Or we could press ahead!" Guild Fuzzy BunnyAria walks near their new friend, occasionally grinning at Peri and mouthing "too cute." They proceed forward until Aria suddenly raises her hand. "Monsters!" she calls out. She reaches for hew bow, then changes her mind and draws her sword instead. A pair of monsters made of writhing vines come crawling out of the brush. A turtle riding a large boar appears and takes position in front of them. "These guys look tough!" Aria calls out. "If we let those Ropers sit around and attack us, we're in for a world of hurt. And that boar can do a lot of damage. And that turtle's hard to break with physical attacks! So, uh... Hey! It's time for you to learn a skill we pro adventurers use - Burst Skills! They're super-fast, useful abilities that go before the enemies can react! They take a lot of energy, but you'll catch a second wind so long as you keep fighting. Best of all, characters using Burst Skills can still use normal abilities, too! Let's start with the most basic of basics - Double Attack. Just pick two characters and a target, then the commands like normal! You got all that, Peri?" Enemy Formation

Sol will use War Heal on himself. "It seems I got careless..."
Luna stays close to him while Alice runs around with Liandra.
When the party stops by the resource point, Wolf stops them and heads over to gather a few things. "It's best to gather as many resources as we can to avoid unnecessary trips to the labyrinth. Whatever helps us to survive is worth doing..."

Peri will train her sights on the Charging Boar and fire at the same time as Fluffykins bites into it, taking care of to shoot the large tiger.
She thens follows up on this by taking aim at the vines of the Roper on the left and shoots in an attempt to wound it. Finn realizes he forgot to summon Wraiths again and opens another portal to somewhere unknown but probably not pleasant from which a Wraith emerges. Lily reaches into a pocket of her apron labeled "for monsters" and throws a tightly packed ball of leaves at the front row of enemies. Upon hitting the ground between the boar and the turtle it breaks open, scattering poisonous spores into the air like a cloud of smoke. Lastly, while the others are attacking Fluffykins lets out an intimidating roar.

Guild Lunatic Red EyesWolf goes to collect a few items from the wooded area. He brings everything back without running into anything. "Hm. A pretty good haul," Liandra says. "But no monsters..." Received Spiraling Vine x3, Ivied Vine x2You continue on until you find a sizable lake. This would probably make a good water source! There's a young man on the shore filling a pair of canteens. He's got a tail that flicks back and forth as he works. He stops, cat-like ears perking up. He whirls around to face the party, crouched, snarling and hissing as his tail sticks straight up. He whistles and a large hawk and a wolfhound come to his side. He readies a bow and points it at you... "Huuuuh? Who're you? What are you doing. Oh, do we have to fight you...?" Liandra asks. She readies her scythe. A pair of monsters come stumbling out of the forest and join the guy. They aren't attacking him...? Something's wrong here. He has a dangerous look in his eye. It's time to defend yourself! "I've never fought another adventurer before. Three lines, huh? This is weird," Liandra says. "I don't think that dog and the hawk will hold us back, though. Ignore them! AH! H-hey, you should all be strong enough now. Try using a Force Boost! It doesn't even take your turn to activate it. Though maybe don't have everyone use it just yet, it takes time to recharge. Resting in town will restore it, but we may still have work to do here." Enemy Formation

Peri quickly reloads and fires at one of the plant creatures. Lily throws a bundle of herbs that explode into smoke on the turtle and boar. The turtle seems to be affected. Fluffykin screams at the enemies. They seem a bit worried. Finn pulls a wraith out of the aether. The boar charges into Finn. The turtle withdraws into its shell. One of the ropers whips Fluffykins. The other slams the ground. Vines come out of the ground and wrap around Aria's legs. "Huh? H-hey! Let go of me!" She struggles to pull free, but can't. She dance like this...! Enemy Formation

Guild Fuzzy BunnyLily digs in her bag and finds some healing herbs. She rubs them on Finn's back and patches up a few of his wounds. Aria tugs at the vines wrapped around her feet, but they refuse to come loose. She tries slashing at them with her blade a few times, then slices at the boar as it comes close to attack her. It lowers its head and prepares to gore her with its horns, but Peri loads some fire rounds into her gun and shoots it in the side. The boar collapses. Fluffykins slams the turtle with a Tiger Blow. It shrugs off the blow and casually walks up to gnaw on Aria's shin. One of the ropers swings at her, as well. Thanks to the vines, she can't avoid any of it and struggles to defend herself. Aria plays it off as not a problem, though she's bleeding a bit. "Ha...! Th-that almost tickles!" The other roper slaps Fluffykins. Finn summons another wraith. One of the two decides to get off its butt and attack the turtle, who continues to not care. Then the turtle suddenly collapses from the poison. Enemy Formation
