"Are you...afraid of snakes...?" Levi looks at his gauntlets. "So if I use sound then..." He uses Amplify, turning up the volume on the gauntlets.

Let's finish the job. Those idiots aren't worth our time. We're just a couple of kids doing a job, and we got caught up in this mess...

Levi, Morgan
Levi turns a knob on his hand. He can feel it pulsating. Tom throws his chain so it connects two of the snakes. One of the snakes stabs Morgan with a spear it produces seemingly from nowhere, and another stabs Levi. The last snake lunges at Alice, sinking its fangs into her shoulder. Alice screams very loudly and slashes it last with flames wrapped around her blade, then turns and stabs it with her sword covered in ice. Morgan runs up and slashes one of the two twice. The damage seems to spread between the two linked by the chain. Those two both seem heavily damaged.
Alice is panting and clutches at her bite wound. "P-poison..." she whimpers.
"Well, technically it's venom..." Tom points out.
Karl
Karl klutches his key. With a flash of light...
Nothing seems to happen. Actually, Karl might feel a little weaker...? A lot weaker.
Dewey, Tai
Dewey yells more Elvish and blasts a bat. It nearly vaporizes the bat. Tai casts a breeze across the group. One is badly damaged, while the injured one is destroyed. The other two bats aren't hurt too badly.
Kiran grabs one of the less damaged and rubs its head. "Aw, who's a good little monster?"
The creature seems too confused to respond.
The other two bite Tai and Dewey. Their injuries seem to heal as the pair watches.
Leia, Vincent
Vincent starts moving ahead. He can see the two take a left up ahead as they retreat. Leia follows after them. They get to the turn and find the path to the right is a dead end. They look left in time to see the others turning to the right. The other option is to go straight.

Alice Senpai nooooo.
Morgan goes in front of Alice to protect her then uses Cool Breeze to help heal everyone

Dewey, Tai, Karl
Dewey blows away one of the bats with another bolt. Tai opens fire on the other. It's badly injured. It screeches at Tai, firing a beam of blue light. The beam thuds into him and knocks him back. He feels a bit winded.
Karl stands around.
Kiran tries to hug his new pet bat harder. It proceeds to bite his arm. Hard. Kiran yells and starts waving his arm as it latches on and sucks his blood. "GAH! Get it off, get it off...!"
Levi, Morgan
Morgan steps up and heals everyone with a cool breeze. "Huh... Neat," Tom says.
Levi claps his hands together and a burning wave of fiery flames bursts out. It incinerates the two that were injured, and damages the last. It tries to retreat, but Alice runs forward with a panicked scream. She leaps forward, stabbing through it so hard that her sword sinks into the ground. She stands over the monster, panting heavily.
Tom walks over and pats her on the shoulder. "You OK, A?" She lets out a whimper and clutches her shoulder. "Whoa, sorry."
She pulls her collar a bit to show the skin beneath - it's got a dark-purple tinge to it. She shakes her head, covers herself again, and grabs hew blade again. With a hard yank, she pulls it free.
Levi and Morgan each get Reticulated Skin x2
Alice clears her throat, adjusts her outfit, and turns to the others. "Well, then. Let's move on..."
You continue on, heading closer and closer towards what you assume is the center of the area. Alice and Tom assure you that's where you'll most likely find the guardian - or maybe they'll find you.
You manage to make quite a bit of progress without running into any monsters. You feel like you're starting to get close. Alice holds up her hand and holds a finger to her mask, over her lips. You listen closely and think you hear something coming from an open store up ahead and to the left.
Is someone... crying...?

...Other than right or straight, you could go back...

Hmm I actually just noticed I have this move. Apparently this move lets me summon a ferret to scout ahead.
Morgan will use Summon Ferret and have the ferret find and scout the source of the crying. Making sure we arent walking into an ambush or trap.
Also slowly walk next to Alice and see if she is okay or if there is anything we can do for her poison.
