Okay guys, so I need a few people to make characters and add backstories and stuff so that I can test out the systems and start to develop the world a bit towards the characters and stories you've made. So I guess I'll lay down a few basic background info stuff things and give you a character sheet to fill out.
Setting
I'm gonna go with a Lost Kingdom 2 style setting with high tech stuff powered by a magical source such as crystals. This kind of technology has been around for a while and is known as Magitech. There are some places that use it a lot, some places that dislike it and use pure magic to advance like a mystical Atlantis-y city, and some places that don't have much of either because they're just...a disgusting mess or something. I dunno. Maybe they're just so physically capable they don't need it. Anyway, the setting is meant to be flexible enough for you to create whatever location and piece of the world you want for the character you want.
Races
There's seven different races in this game. Humans, Elves, Verians, Shadows, Machines, Beasts, and Ancients. Humans are your standard human being. Nothing really to be said there. Elves are your standard pointy eared people. Still not much to be said here. Verians are people with slight animal traits like ears or tails. Shadows are human-like with demon-like horns and patches of dark scales on their bodies. The amount of scales can vary from one to another and Shadows are generally considered sketchy people by other races. Machines are any kind of mechanical creature you want to have. Cyborgs, andriods, robots, and mechanical plants with a thirst for vengeance are all included in this category. Beasts are any kind of animal, monster, or weird human beast werewolf-y mutation hybrid you feel like having. Ancients are mysterious beings that are said to be born from the crystals and made of pure magic. They have strange, glowing symbols and markings on their bodies.

Important NPCs: (Describe important side characters to your character's story. Keep in mind you can control these side characters as you would any other character, but they are used mostly to further your own story than provide benefits.)
Stats (Everyone starts with 100 points to place into their stats. You may distribute these however you like, but keep in mind the lowest a stat can be is 1 and the highest is 100.)

Skills (Everyone starts with three skill points, which you may spend on any skills you want, and receives 1 more skill point every other level starting at level 4. Every skill costs 1 Skill Point, but some have prerequisites. Check the doc for details. Mana/Energy cost chart will be made soon. It's also important to remember that Mana/Energy costs scale with level, increasing accordingly.)
That should be everything you need for some basic sign ups. For this short demo run, I'll be GMing things solo, but in the full game, there will be multiple GMs. Oh, right. You're also limited to signing up three characters and max party sizes are three, but you can travel with less if you want.
