Kitty heads back to the large pets area.
You find Stella, Levi, and Grandma Foxy stuffed into some of the other display cases. Levi and Stella are unconscious. The other fox is also in a case, still rambling. "And of course the library didn't have the book I wanted, so I set the place on fire. I mean, who wouldn't, right?" He continues to ramble on.
Sonja is still asleep. Elysia and Jude are in the middle of scooping her up when you show up. Jude notices the pokeballs you're carrying and drops her back down on Awkward. Hard.
"My Pokemon!" he yells at you, excitedly. "You found them!"
Ranulf is licking his wounds from all of Stella's scratching.

"They weren't hidden very well." Give him the Pokemon.
Walk over to Sonja and open the Edit menu. Activate the backstory changing feature and read her recent memories of this place. Maybe this will tell me what the heck is going on.
Glance over at the others while reading. "You're free to go if you want. I don't think anyone will stop you."

(Oh crap I forgot you were supposed to find a portal at the checkout. It's got a picture of a tall building.)
"Go... where?" Ranulf asks.
"I don't know. Anywhere but here. I have to find Corva. There should be some portals around here somewhere..." He clips his balls to his belt. "Thanks."
The sheep flashes and turns into a... weird-looking human. "But what about these guys? We can't just leave them here to starve."
"Of course we can," Elysia says. "I'm out of here. As... soon as I figure out how."
"Well, I'm going to stay and take care of them!" the ex-sheep, weird-ish human says.
You check Levi's backstory. You find that he was part of a rebellion in some place called Regna Ferox, met a princess, some stuff happened, he went to bed one night, then he woke up in a cage here. Some big, muscular guy showed up and offered him a job taking care of the others. And he took it. It wasn't terribly long ago, just a few hours.

Levi had never met Mr. Muscles before and never got a name. He was tall, muscular. White hair. But not old enough to be graying, probably natural white.

She is still very asleep and doesn't respond to your frisking.

Her breasts are too small to hold anything, but you check anyway. Nothing. You pull off her shoes and look inside. Nothing. No socks to check, either. Nothing between her toes, nothing in her hands, nothing in her hair. You could check her underwear, but people are already giving you funny looks.
