"What!? You're insane!" Buttons yells at Kai.
Tai, Buttons, Blonde-dancer, and Zenia run after the creature.
The magical girl slumps to her knees, then picks herself up and goes to check on Natsumi, along with Pixie. She looks at other-Natsumi, then looks between the two for several seconds. "Wh-what... the... Hell..."
Zenia shoots a fireball at it while Tai shoots a Storm Surge at it. Buttons just struggles to keep up. Instead of dancing this time, the blonde woman cracks open her tome. "Goetia... Unleash your power!" Claws of shadow reach up and grab the tentacle-beast as it surges away. It slows to a halt. Witchy starts screaming and stabbing at it. Angrily. The monster chucks her away. Buttons jumps to catch her before she slams into a tree. He gets knocked to the ground, but stops her from being badly injured.

"I'm not done with you!" Tai shouts and uses Bloody Blasters.
Kai, kidna bored hums. He looks at the passed out Natsumi. And gets an idea.
"Sorry, but we have to be going. I'm supposed to have her home by 10."
He picks her up and drags her through the portal. Or he will attempt to.

Tai focuses on the monster. Everyone pours on the damage. The blonde woman flips through her book and summons a shadowy eldritch abomination of her own. It holds the dark young down as everyone finishes it off together.
Fortunately, Blondie manages to maintain control of her creature unlike someone and dispels it.
Kai starts dragging Natsumi into a portal.
Magical girl holds her hand out at him. "H-hey, what do you think you're doing...?"
Despite her protests, she makes no effort to stop you.
Move to Miasma Forest.

"Alright. Thank God that shit show is over." Tai pants a bit, out of breath.
He sighs. He approaches Buttons. "Buttons. I am incredibly pissed right now. It's all I can do not to put a bullet in you and that blonde asshole. So since your dumbass got a version of our friend killed in the exact kind of shit I've told you to stop,you're going to come with me and make sure that this shit doesn't happen again. Please." Tai stresses the anger in his voice. Though all of the present company could probably detect the deep sorrow in his voice.
In fact, he's actually trembling quite a bit as he speaks.
"Does anyone else want to help me? ... Please?" Tai says exhausted physically and emotionally.

"I didn't... think it would work! I just... wanted... something to do while I'm stuck here!" Buttons protests.
"And I... Shut up!" the blonde witch says. "I've dealt with a shit-ton of monsters like this. She would've been fine if she hadn't been..."
"Y-yeah!" Buttons yells with surprising force. "Wh... What about your stupid fake! H-he was talking about killing her, and the one who decided to offer her as a sacrifice! I was just... trying to... D-dammit, why does she look like the real Natsumi!? And that... other one... What the Hell is going on!?"
The blonde dancer, magical girl, Zenia, and pixie all stare silently.
Everyone looks like they need a minute. Especially Buttons. He's taking this worse than Tai, openly tearing up.
"...I need... I need to... I can't just... I gotta... I... I should... I'm gonna... gotta... bury her..." Buttons mutters. "She'd... want... a proper..." He gets up and shambles towards the graveyard.

Tai sighs. He follows Buttons. "Buttons... I don't have a clue what the hell is going on. Apparently there's multiple versions of people, and judging by our present company I'd say this could be some sort of alternate dimension or world. Either way, a version of our friend is... dead. And I can't forgive him for that. I Don't know what his deal is but like hell I'm gonna let him do as he pleases. So please... help me."
Tai will help Buttons bury her.

You help Buttons carry the corpse to the graveyard. The others all wait behind.
When you reach the graveyard, the skeleton-guy whirls around. "Ho? Excellent! An excellent offering you've brought me! Still warm, too. She will make an excellent thrall." He starts reaching out for Natsumi's body.
Tai feels that presence from before. It's... right behind him.

"Natsumi always hated the idea of the undead..." Buttons growls. "Back off, you... damn... MONSTER!"
"Fools." Two large skeletons with rapiers pop up out of the ground. A pair of fake wings burst from his back. "To defy me... is death."

Tai sighs. "Damnit you two! Can we not do this please!?" Still, he takes a defensive pose, though refuses to grab his guns. "Buttons, calm the fuck down. Skeleton man, please leave us be. I'm not going to fight you." Tai stamds his ground, bracing for any hits.

The skeleton and his friends clearly have no interest in not fighting you. His two escort-skeletons lunge forward with their rapiers.
Tai feels something grab his neck and throw him to his butt before he can get impaled. The same happens to Buttons.
A woman in a black overcoat and white dress steps forward. She has straight dark-purple hair, black gloves, and black boots. She points a pistol at the skeleton. The two skeletons with rapiers step back into a defensive position.

Tai starts shooting. So does the creepy woman. One of the rapier-skeletons stands in the way of the bullets, shielding the necromancer-skeleton. The other rapier-skeleton slashes at her. She flips out a knife and parries the attack.
The necromancer skeleton flies over and kicks Tai in the face.
Buttons retreats with Natsumi's corpse.

He grips his guns tightly and runs at the Mage shooting Bloody Blasters and slamming into him.

Tai tries to attack the main enemy, but once again one of the small giant skeletons jumps in the way. The other one slashes him. The big leader tries to attack the white-dressed woman, and she disappears. She reappears behind him, firing a dark-purple sphere into his back.
