I think we should go back to the base for now. Come up with a proper plan and let the others know your fine. There was a map back at the base so maybe we can get an idea where to go next. Maybe get some rest before we head off. Some of us had a really rough time.

When you come through the portal, you find yourself in a purple swamp. An ominous purple miasma blankets the few dry bits of land. The witch seems to be gone.

You turn and walk the short distance back to the fort. You see a vaguely witch-like silhouette flying up and away.
"Hey! Stop! Who are you!?" Eun'ji calls after the figure.
No response.

"Greaaaaaat. How am I supposed to get through this dumb swamp!" Tai throws his arms in the air and sighs. He kicks the ground.
"Maybe she's friendlier than the last witch?"

The witch-y figure leaves without responding.
When you head inside, you find a letter addressed to Tai sitting on the table next to the map.
Tai
Your witch-friend reappears shortly. You notice the air in a sphere around her is clear from the poison gas and the fog. When she gets close, you can breathe a lot better. "Hey! I looked around a bit. I think I found a way out of this swamp thing. We should get out of here quick-like." She drops down to your height and scoots over on her broom. "Hop on!"
