"Look at all of you new rookies... Hmph. I bet you all think you're the last, best hope for humanity, huh? Milksops, the lot of ya! If you're really the best we have left, I guess things are truly desperate. Well, nothing to be done for it. I'm sure you learned all this at the academy, but let's go over the basics one last time before you take the field. Maybe then you'll survive a battle or two."
Step 1: Choose where to defend.
You'll be given your first assignment when you sign up, but once you've proven yourself you'll eventually get to choose for yourself.
Step 2: Receive your budget.
You'll receive a certain amount of gold (G) and recruits for each assignment.
Step 3: Create skills
Creating a new skill to equip on your troops is free. But each skill will cost some of a troop's stat points to equip. The stat point cost will depend on the skill. Troops with lots of strong skills will have lower stats!
Step 4: Train Troops
Each garrison leader can create 3 classes of troops at the start. As they progress, they'll unlock additional slots.
Name:
Type: (melee/ranged)
Stats (40 points for melee characters, 30 points for ranged characters)
HP: (5/pt)
MP: (3/pt)
Melee Attack:
Melee Defense:
Range Attack:

Mag Attack:

Special Skills:
Step 5: Deploy
Choose how many of your recruits will be trained in each class. Receive a map of the area and decide where to deploy your troops.
You'll also be able to purchase static defenses such as fences and barbed wire.
Step 6: Upgrade Troops
Spend your gold to buy additional recruits or improve current troops. Gold costs of upgrades will fluctuate based on various factors.
