Welcome to Vitmon Mini! My name is Liz and I'll be your guide! Hm? Sounds familiar? Nah, that's not possible. My old job was top secret hush hush, so I doubt you know me. Anyway, since that group of hackers went down and the Vitcon Virtual Reality System released, Vitmon Mini has become a pretty popular game! I'm a professionally hired staff member that's paid to help you figure out how this works. So let's get right into the rules, kay?
First off, let's go over what exactly a Vitmon is. Well, it's a super complex computer program. But you can think of it as a virtual pet. Thanks to virtual reality technology, you can hang out with your Vitmon just like you would a real pet! Cool, right? They'll even react and respond like a real pet would. But that's only part of a Vitmon's charm. One of the coolest things about them is that they all naturally grow and change into different forms. Of course, you can totally influence this. Vitmons will change depending on how you raise them. If your nice to a Vitmon, it will become nice. If you teach your Vitmon to swim, it will become an aquatic Vitmon. One of the easiest ways to influence the changes to your Vitmons is to change the environment they live in. That's right! You'll have total control over your Home Island. You can change the environment completely to fit whatever needs you have.
Now I'm sure you're wondering what you can do with your Vitmons. Well, there's a few things. You can take your Vitmon out to explore ruins whenever you like! When you're out exploring ruins with your Vitmon, you can find special items and Bits. You can give special items to your Vitmons to further influence their growth and you can use Bits to buy new Vitmons or your very own special items! Exploring ruins will require basic puzzle solving and sometimes your Vitmons can use their special abilities to help you explore further.
Something else you can do is take your Vitmon out to the park to interact with other Vitmons. You can chat with others that play the game and watch your Vitmons interact here. Sometimes they will find special items and Bits too! You can change the environment of the park as well as watch your Vitmon grow and change here. Think of it almost like a multiplayer Vitmon growth zone.
Once your Vitmon has grown by at least one stage, you can choose to either Transfer or Release your Vitmon. Both Releasing and Transferring your Vitmon will result in earning both a special item and some Bits. There are some differences, however. While Releasing your Vitmon will result in earning some Vitcoins, you won't receive Vitcoins for Transferring. You will, however, gain a bonus in whichever game you transfer to. The bonuses can change from game to game, so make sure you check before you transfer! That's about it aside from getting you to fill out your information. So let's get to that and then we can get you moving right along.
