Using the icy field to his advantage, Zyl quickly runs around the ice and attacks the Sword Primid with rapid punches. His aura is focused around his feet, keeping him safe from sliding around on the ice unlike the Primids. The two Primids left both charge toward Zyl, but he easily dodges one attack and the other slips and falls on the ice. Dana takes the chance to create a ball of light and blast it at the Primid that fell as it quickly dissolves away in the light.
The last Primid tries to hit Zyl again, but the ice hinders it's movement and the Primid is unable to move fast enough. Zyl quickly runs up from behind and defeats the Primid with a quick kick to the head.
After the three Primids are defeated, they are quickly replaced by three more that come running in from all sides. Zyl and Dana are surrounded by the strange, light blue Primids. They seem to be unaffected by the ice and move around just as easily as Zyl on it. "These ones look like they'll be harder than the others. Maybe their unusual color will show some kind of advantage."
"Alright, I'll remember that when making my strategy. Thanks, Zyl."

With the next wave of strange, blue Primids, Zyl quickly gets to work. He keeps the Primids distracted while Dana starts to burn holes into the ground with Fire Ball. The fire burns away the ice easily as it disappears in puffs of steam. She takes a moment to catch her breath since the area is filled with holes. The Primids toss blocks of ice at Zyl, but the aura around him absorbs the ice completely and it seems to even restore his energy.
Knowing that ice will do nothing to Zyl, the Ice Primids decide to try physical attacks. They start to chase after Zyl, but his speed is superior to theirs. He quickly runs around as they trip over the holes. Taking them out one at a time, Zyl and Dana effectively defeat all three with fire.
The enemies are all defeated and Dana puts away here weapon. "Wait, we aren't done yet. Something big is coming. It smells almost the same as that monster..." Heeding Zyl's warning, Dana takes out her lance again and takes a few steps back.
They both stand in the cold wind and snow for a long time, facing forward and watching the blank air intently. After some time, a loud roar is heard off in the distance and the snow almost simultaneously falls harder in the wind, becoming a blizzard. The roar comes again even louder this time. The next roar seems to be almost next to Dana, blocking out all other sound. The wind, the crunching snow beneath her feet, and even Zyl running toward her and yelling couldn't be heard over it. She began to walk toward him, but felt a sudden, sharp pain in her back as she's knocked forwards, face first in the snow.
Taking a moment to recollect her thoughts, Dana's hearing began to return as well. She heard Zyl from behind her. "You have to get up! That monster is here!" With the words slowly registering, Dana jumps up from the snow and turns quickly. There, she's standing right in front of a pair of large, glowing eyes. Watching in amazement, Dana realizes she's looking at a giant dog with glowing, blue eyes and a cold breath that chills the air. It's brown fur coats it's body, but is completely frozen around the head. Two large, metallic wings protrude from the monster's back and quickly slam into the ground, sending a cold blast through that freezes over the holes made by Dana and holds her feet in place, stuck to the icy ground. With her vulnerable, the creature takes in a deep breath. Dana struggles to break free from the ice, but is unable to even cause a crack. Just as a large blast of cold breath begins to surround her, a white light moves quickly in front of her.
The light envelopes Dana and absorbs the snow. Zyl stands in front of her, staring down the monster and the aura returns to him from Dana. The frozen head looks frustrated as a deep growl resonates from within and another head is seen from behind. After a loud roar, the ice and snow all quickly melts away and the field is enveloped in flames. The dark clouds shift and a circle of fire surrounds the two fighters and the beast.
"So it's not just one head. It's two! Zyl, we need to be careful! Their roars are changing the area and they can use both ice and fire attacks." Zyl nods and the two quickly get into position for battle.
"Alright, time to defeat you once and for all!"

With the start of the battle, Dana and Zyl split up to fight the two heads. Dana starts out by tossing her Bronze Lance up in the air towards the fire head and yelling out the word fetch. The flaming head easily nabs the lance with its mouth without moving much, but lost focus on Dana long enough to be hit by a ball of light. On the other side, Zyl is attempting to distract the frozen head by attacking the head multiple times. His Rage attack helps to keep its attention, but ice attacks aren't all this two headed dog knows. Lifting one of its metallic wings up in the air, Orthros slams it into the ground. The powerful shockwave knocks Zyl off his feet and he's vulnerable for a claw to hit him and knock him back.
Dana notices Zyl getting launched backward by the powerful paw as he tumbles across the ground. She quickly runs over to him to protect him from the Fire Breath the flaming head blows out. She blocks the attack the best she can with her lance the Orthros dropped while breathing in air for the attack. Dana was still hurt, but at least Zyl wasn't hit. The other head also takes in a deep breath and prepares to blast an icy breath at them. Zyl quickly jumps in front of Dana and absorbs the attack to heal himself though.
They both return to their original strategy and split up to attack the heads. Dana starts off by attacking the fire head with her light stabbing attacks in an attempt to keep it busy while Zyl uses another Rage to unleash multiple punches on the ice head. Zyl is, however, ignored by the head as it barks at the other head. The fire head notices Zyl and blasts a breath of fire toward him. Zyl barely avoids the attack by kicking off the head and landing down below. It doesn't look like they'll be staying separate in their attacks. The frozen head roars up into the sky and the flames around them quickly die out as a cold blizzard begins to fall and the ground freezes over again.
With the ice back, Dana is unable to use her physical attacks, so she stays behind Zyl and launches Light Balls from her position and summons fish to hit the enemy. The fire head spits out a large ball of fire toward Zyl and he's hit, getting badly injured. He feels pretty faint and is about to collapse as he notices the ice head has been charging up an attack the whole time. It soon stomps on the ground and roars again as spires of ice jolt out of the ground and hit both Zyl and Dana. Zyl's aura wraps around him and absorbs the ice while shattering it as he stands back up, feeling fully refreshed. Dana is hit by the fragments of ice though. She seems to be okay, but too many of those attacks will end up causing a big problem.
After the attack, Zyl runs ahead over to the ice head and continues to attack with his multiple kicks and punches, distracting both heads from Dana. This leads to them both targeting him, however. The frozen head hits him up high in the air with a headbutt while the flaming head uses the wings to slam Zyl downward into the ground. He was able to survive the attack and quickly gets up off the ground. Dana focuses on hitting both heads this time, throwing a Fire Ball at the ice head and a Light Ball at the fire. When the fire hits, the frozen head roars in pain as the ice around it is seen cracking apart.
After the frozen head is hit, the fire head looks up to the sky and roars. The ice melts away again as the snow stops and instead the area around them is ablaze with flames. Dana takes this chance to run up to the fire head and use her Light Jab. The fire head moves backward slightly, but then looks angrier, roaring at Dana. Zyl continues to charge the ice head with a flurry of punches before finishing with another powerful kick, deepening the cracks in the ice. It roars and thrashes around, knocking Zyl back.
Zyl retaliates again with another set of attacks, but the frozen head seems to be focused on something else. It howls loudly at the sky as the flames around the fire head intensify. Dana jumps away from the flaming head to avoid catching on fire and tosses a Light Ball at it. The fire head ignores the attack and shifts its focus to Zyl. The eyes flash as it stomps on the ground powerfully and opens its mouth. From it, a powerful fire bursts forth. Zyl is unable to escape the blazing breath because of its large attack range, but Dana stands in front of him to block the attack with her lance. Once the fire dies away, both her and Zyl are still standing, but Dana is breathing heavily and about ready to collapse.
If the fight doesn't end soon, they might not make it. Zyl decides to finish up this fight as fast as he can and charges ahead to the flaming head, landing a kick onto its face. The head attempts to retaliate with another fire attack, but Dana quickly throws a summoned fish into the fire head's throat, causing it to choke. The head coughs, spitting out the fish and a puff of smoke floats out of its mouth. The ice head is busy roaring at the sky, shifting the weather again to an icy blizzard.
Zyl's assault on the flaming head continues with a punch to the face. The fire head knocks Zyl back and slams him into the ground with a metal wing again. The ice head is charging up an attack and starts off by roaring at the two. It then takes in a deep breath of air, but is quickly interrupted when Dana throws a ball of fire into its mouth. The head is completely interrupted as it roars in pain with the cracks deepening.
Orthros' heads both flash their eyes as they look up to the sky and roar. The left side of Orthros is completely frozen over and the right side is engulfed in flames. Powerful energy is swirling around them and a bright light is growing within them. They're charging up an extremely powerful attack. Dana attempts to stop them by tossing a Light Ball, but they seem unfazed by the attack. Zyl follows up with a Wolf Fang, creating a large wolf with his aura and pointing forward, commanding the wolf to attack. It quickly dashes forward and sinks its teeth into Orthros. Somehow, the monster still ignores all attacks and continues charging up.
The light expands outward and becomes a large, yellow orb around Orthros. Luckily, it's not as bright and Orthros can still be seen, but it looks like it's almost finished charging. Dana tosses another ball of light at it, but still the attack is completely ignored. Orthros continues charging and the light changes into a red color before becoming blue. It rapidly changes between these two colors and the area around them begins to rumble around. Then Orthros looks up to the sky and roars powerfully as the light dissipates and the weather around the area returns to normal. Orthros falls to the ground as an aura wolf releases it from its jaw. Orthros' body dissolves away into shadowy orbs, floating up and away in the sky.
Dana lets out a sigh of relief, dropping to the ground into a sitting position. "We did it. We defeated that monster..."
Zyl walks quietly over to where the body once was and calls out to Dana. "Hey, there's something over here. Come look." Out of curiosity, Dana wanders over and looks down to where Zyl is pointing. There is a light sitting there. No, wait, it has wings. It's a strange, winged light. It appears to be sleeping. "There's more..." Zyl also picks up a bag full of 500 Gold. He also finds something else... "What's this?"

"That's a Blue Link Cube! This should help out a lot! These things summon more people. It's the same way you got here." Dana holds the cube and quietly inspects it. Inside she can see the number 14. Interesting...
"So it summons new allies? Hmm..." Zyl gets lost in thought as the light with wings begins to wake up. The wings slightly flutter around a bit before it begins to fly around.
The light heads over to Dana and bounces up and down joyfully. "Finally, I found you! It's the hero!"
"What are you talking about weird light?"
"Please, hero, don't address me so rudely. I am a fairy. My name is Navi! I was sent her by my master to retrieve you! I went to that town to find you, but I was eaten by Orthros. Sorry about that. But you saved me, so I'm very grateful, hero!"
"What's with the whole hero thing? And who's your master?" Dana asks these questions while watching the fairy fly around her slowly in circles.
"You're the hero! My master said you would save us from the one destroying everything. My master is awesome. He watches over and protects this world from an evil entity trying to destroy it."
"But I'm not a hero. I barely even know where I am!"
"Don't worry, hero, master told me you would probably forget your past. That's okay though. I'll take you to him and he can help you remember with just the snap of his fingers!"
"But I already told you. I'm not some mystic hero to this world!"
"You really don't seem convinced. Fine, how about this? I'll take you to my master for him to restore your memory. Then you'll definitely remember if your the hero or not!"
"...Well, I guess so. Sure. I guess I'll take your offer. Once my memory is returned, then we'll see."
"Great! Then we've got our destination! I'll make sure to guide you with only the best navigation! I know the way pretty well. We have to get past the forest first. Oh, but make sure you're prepared first! There's a camp and stuff already set up too! Convenient! Well, get ready and head off, hero!"
"I'll have to talk to you later about the whole hero thing..."

"Alright, I guess it's best to make sure we're ready before heading off to find your master." Dana puts her belongings inside of the hut they made and takes out her Blue Link Cube outside. Zyl sits down by the fire pit while Navi follows around Dana. "Well, we might as well use it now, right?" Dana tosses the cube lightly forward as it disappears in a flash of light, being replaced by a person.
He looks around a moment at the area before taking out a small notebook and pen, writing something down while mumbling something close to, "Amazing, so this is what was behind that anomaly..." He then finishes and looks up to Dana with his amber colored eyes. At first he stares curiously, but soon walks toward her with his brown coat flowing backward in the wind. "Hello. I'm guessing that you're a native to this world, am I right?" He quickly fixes his brown hair with his hands since the wind blew it out of place. Dana notices he's carrying a bow on his back as well. She could have sworn that for a second she saw a jolt of electricity move through it, but it must have been the light or something.
"Um...actually, no. Well, maybe. I'm not sure." Dana is unsure how to answer the question with her recent amnesia, but Navi quickly flies up to the unknown archer.
"Yes! I definitely am!" Navi proudly proclaims this before whispering into the archer's ear. "She is too, but don't tell her I told you that..."
"What? Hey, I said we'd have to wait until getting back my memory to decide that!"
Before Navi can respond, the archer asks more questions. "Oh, so you know about this place, fairy? Maybe you can help me find out more. You see, my name is 14, and I travel around to places in order to help people and raise my karma levels. At one point, there was a portal that opened up and someone asked for help. Naturally, I was curious and I wouldn't pass up a chance to gather more karma. I'm pretty sure one of you were the one asking for help."
"I can definitely tell you about this place! My name is Navi! This is the hero. She's here to save us all from disaster! That's what my master told me and he's always right. Oh, and I'm pretty sure that you were called here when that Blue Link Cube was used." Navi floats around 14 happily.
"14's a weird name."
"It's not my real name, it's just my number. But I think it's been so long, I can't even remember my real name. It's probably in this book somewhere. I write down anything I find important in here." 14 says this while he scribbled down some of the information Dana and Navi have given him.
"It seems kind of small for that."
"You'd be surprised how much information you can fit into one book."
"Okay...Well, if you were looking to help someone, we could use it. We're going to go find some important place that allows us to talk to Navi's master."
"Alright, a simple escort mission should be easy."
"But before we go, I think we should train a little bit. It could be useful! I've got a great idea for target practice too since we all can use ranged attacks!" Dana creates a ball of light and floats it around. She heads over to an empty space with her floating light and practices moving it around quickly. "See? You two should practice firing ranged attacks at the light."
After she talks, Zyl gets up to his feet and attempts to hit the ball with an Aura Blast, missing as it zooms around. He then continues to fire off multiple Aura Blasts in a frustrated attempt to hit the light. 14 calmly watches the light and takes out his bow. It doesn't have any arrows in it though. Instead, a strange kind of arrow forms made from electricity. He pulls back and quickly releases, sending the arrow directly through the light.
"What was that?" Zyl looks at 14 in amazement.
"That is the karma I mentioned earlier. Basically, karma is a special energy that people can gather. Using this energy, they can create or change things with it. For example, I use my karma to create electrical arrows and to control electricity in general. Others may use their karma to form metal or create fire."
"I guess I'll have to speed up the light to make it harder." Dana began to create another ball of light for training as she spoke.
"I wish we could fight something else..." Zyl sighs, but continues to shoot out aura at the light.
After the training is over, 14 and Navi are busy talking about the information of their different worlds while Zyl and Dana organize the items and check to make sure they're fully prepared. "Alright, is that everything?"
"Don't forget your lance. Here you go." Zyl hands the simple, Bronze Lance to Dana.
"Oh, thanks! I was wondering where I left it..."
"Hey, Dana..." Zyl gathers her attention from preparations and seems to have a serious face on. "We defeated the monster...Does that mean that I have to go now?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Well, you called me to this world to fight that beast. Now it's dead. So...now I have to leave, right? So...I'll just go...don't worry, I understand."
"Zyl! You're crazy!"
"Huh? You don't want me to leave?"
"No, you idiot! Of course I don't want you to leave! You're my friend!"
"Your friend...So I can stay?"
"Duh! You can stay all you want! Now, come on! We gotta get ready. I want to get to that place before it gets dark, don't you?"
"Yes, I'll be there in a minute." Dana runs off to gather the others, leaving Zyl on his own. "Is this what a friend is...?"
Only a few moments later, the group is ready to move on. Navi is busy explaining the forest to everyone. "So the connection is in the forest over there. There's a large clearing with a village inside and the ruins by the village hold the connection to my master."
"Alright, then let's get moving! That forest won't get any smaller." The group matches onward through the forest full of thick bushes and large trees. Luckily, there's a path. The grass waves in the wind and the tree branches shake slowly. It gives off a peaceful vibe, yet the group feels there will be an attack anytime soon.
Just as expected, a couple of angry Sunflora leap from the bushes, ready to assault the team. One of them charges toward Zyl, but he easily moves out of the way. "Why are they so mad?"
"Someone must have agitated them. Maybe another big monster is attacking nearby."
"Whatever it is, we need to move them out of the way, with or without a fight."

Yes and no. He is and isn't me. 14 was my character in a game called Void Between Boards. He wears clothes similar to mine, but he acts differently and looks differently. I usually add something of myself to most my characters. Also, all the characters you've seen so far have either been characters made specifically for this game or characters I've played as in the past. Cool, huh?

Yeah, that is pretty cool. Makes sense too, since nobody has offered to have one of their characters show up. I was briefly tempted to include Lupis, but since the main character already is a lance user he wouldn't really bring anything new, so I'm fine with keeping him to Lost Kingdom.

Or Cinder...
It wouldn't affect your characters in their original games if they die in this one.

Wait, you picked PK Fire!? That wasn't supposed to be picked! That character shouldn't show up for another chapter or two! Oh well! Good choice.
Before the group can even prepare to strike, they hear a resounding shout from somewhere. "PK Fire!" A stream of flames comes out from the forest and hits the angered Sunflora. They step backward and seem to be in pain, but it soon begins to rain. What strange timing. The Sunflora are knocked out and Pokeballs are tossed out from the same place as the PK Fire's origin. The Sunflora are quickly caught and teleport away. What was that?
Soon after, two people come walking out along with a large rock Pokemon carrying their belongings. One of them is a woman with long, red hair and green eyes. She's wearing what appears to be an explorer's outfit with one of those hats and everything. She looks happily at the group of travelers that were recently assaulted by Sunflora and approaches them.
"Hey! My name is Flora!" She quickly grabs Dana's hand and begins to shake it. Dana opens her mouth to respond, but is interrupted. "So since I saved your life from that Sunflora, you should thank me. Those things can be vicious!"
"Uh...Th-thank...you?"
"Ah ha! See? I told you I could do it Rain! You said I couldn't do anything nice without gaining something from it, but I just did! You owe me 100,000 gold!" She seems to be yelling at the man standing by Golem and shaking his head. He also has red hair, but his eyes are blue. Other than than the fact he's a man and he has shorter hair and eyes, they look pretty similar.
"Yes, I did say I would give you 100,000 gold if you could do that, but you helped these people to get 100,000 gold." He lets out a sigh and leans against his Pokemon. "She really doesn't get it, does she, Golem?" The Pokemon let's out a sound of agreement.
"What!? Hey, you tricked me!"
"No, I just said I'd pay to see you be nice without gaining a profit."
"Give me that gold! Come on!" Flora tries to steal a pouch of gold from Rain, but he holds it up high over his head. She still attempts to grab it though, jumping up and down and swiping at the money. Golem quickly breaks up the fight though, dropping the large bags and picking up one with each hand. He holds them apart and looks at them as the two yell at each other.
"Um...what's going on?"
Rain turns to answer Dana as Flora begins to yell at him not to ignore her while she's talking. "Sorry about that. She can get a bit carried away."
"Carried away!? Get over here and I'll carry away your face!"
"I should properly introduce myself. My name is Rain. I travel around through many different worlds with my sister, Flora. We're merchants."
"Get over here and fight me!"
"My sister is easily enraged and will get mad over the simplest things."
"PUT ME DOWN GOLEM! I WILL DESTROY YOU, RAIN!" Golem begins to lower its arm to place Flora on the ground.
"Can you do me a favor and keep her up there?" Golem nods and holds Flora up higher. "Now then, where was I? Oh, right. So we're traveling merchants and we've decided it's finally time to return home after all this time and see what's happened."
"Oh, well we were just on our way to...a village in the forest."
"The Deku Village, Dana!" Navi flies in from behind and floats around Dana.
"Oh, well it seems we're headed the same way then. Why don't we go together? It might make things a bit faster."

A, more party members is always good. As For Shadow, Young Xehanort, or Cinder, the first two are kind of overly serious characters (not to mention that neither of them are original characters), and Cinder would have trouble communicating with the rest of the party, so I think I just won't have any of my characters in the game.
