"Ahhh, I gotchu, I understand. Got to identify the proper demand for goods." Yulie lets out a small hiccup, waiting to see if she can pick up any more interesting tidbits of info, and otherwise leaves while paying a proper farewell to Jack if there's nothing more to be gained, sleeping in.

You head home and sleep.
You wake up the next day and realize you don't actually have to open the shop if you don't feel like it.

You open up the shop.
A young woman comes in, browses for a while, and finally picks up some turnip seeds. "I'll try planting these in my herb garden... Oh, and some flour to thicken up my soup." She grabs some of that on the way out.
A shady man comes in, looks around for a while, then grabs a bronze ingot. He puts the money on the counter and leaves without a word.
A young girl comes in with her mother. They quickly grab the wool. "We can use this to fix Mr. Teddy, right?" Her mother nods.
At the end of the day, a man comes in. He's not wearing a shirt. He grabs the one you have up for sale, hastily pays, and puts it on. "Don't ask, it's a long story. Booze was involved. A lot."

We're getting there. Unfortunately when I accounted for meeting my goal while pricing, it assumed that everything in the inventory would sell, so we'll see how it keeps going.
Head to the tavern after work if we can. It can't hurt.

You head to the bar, paying 10G for some booze and snacks. You eavesdrop on some conversations...
"Hey, did you hear that the apothecary's struggling to get his hands on monster parts?"
"Damn shame. Kid's got some skills. Bet he could give those fancy-pants mages a run for their money!"
"Ugh, I can't believe I tore my dress. Damn nail. I hope no one notices. I'll just have to get a new one tomorrow..."
"I needed some vegetables for dinner, so I stopped at the Hogshead. Jeez, it was-"
"If you need that sorta thing, you should really buy from Rose instead. She specializes in plant stuff."
"Huh. Maybe. But I don't think it'll be that much cheaper. The supply route with Vergilian's been unreliable, at best."
"Dammit, what's the guard corps doing?"
"Nothing to be done about it. Merchants rely on mercenaries, which are typically in short supply in small farming villages. Obviously."
