Welcome to Artifact Hunters! My name is Liz and, uh...have we met before? Nevermind. My job as an employee is to help you understand the basics of this game! Let's get right to it, shall we?
The main feature of Artifact Hunters is fighting giant bosses called Gigas. You'll be using weapons known as Artifacts to fight these Gigas. Even better is each time you defeat a Gigas, you'll gain a new artifact that contains that Gigas' power. There's a wide variety of these giant boss Gigas and you'll need to adapt to each one in order to beat them. Make sure you bring the proper artifacts and switch when necessary. Each player on your team can hold up to three different artifacts at a time and switch between them whenever they like in battle. You never know what Gigas you'll be fighting, so make sure you're ready for anything!
Let's talk about parties. Each Gigas has a number of party members that are required to fight it. This ranges anywhere from 1 to 4. This means the smallest party is going to be one player while the largest is four. Some Gigas will have an option to choose such as 1-3 party members, in which case the boss will scale in difficulty to match your party number. I'm sure you're sitting there thinking "I have no friends for multiplayer games!" or "I have no time for multiplayer games!" Well, don't worry! We have a solution for that! If you don't want to play with others, you can turn your Artifacts into Bots! Your Artifact will transform into an ally with that Artifact's powers and you can control it for ease of play! Isn't accessibility great? Each Bot can only have the abilities of one Artifact you used to make it, but your Artifact will return to your inventory after your battle with the Gigas. Keep in mind that you must always have at least one Artifact that you can equip at a time, so if you only have one Artifact, you can't create Bots to fight with you.
Finally, let's go over the mechanics of fighting Gigas and earning Artifacts. When you want to fight a Gigas, simply go over to the battle desk and request to fight either an Easy, Medium, Hard, or Extreme difficulty Gigas. This will give you a random, new Gigas to battle with that matches your party number. Once you've fought a Gigas before, it will be added to the Gigas Compendium and you can request to fight that Gigas again at any time. You will always gain an Artifact containing the power of a Gigas once you defeat it, but you might not always get the same Artifact when defeating a Gigas. In fact, you and your friends might all gain different Artifacts. This is why players are allowed to freely trade among themselves. You can give your friend your Artifact as a gift or trade if you both want each others' Artifacts. When you have Artifacts that you don't want or need, you have two different choices of what you can do with them. You can either trade in Artifacts for Vitcoins or you can Transfer your Artifacts to other games.
With all that done, feel free to ask any questions you have and make sure you fill out this sign up form properly!
Name: (You can play as yourself or a character!)
Avatar: (What does your virtual avatar look like?)
Starting Artifacts: (Create three basic Artifacts you'd like to start with. This can be pretty much anything from a ring that gives you Pyrokinesis to a sword that allows you to teleport. Keep in mind you can only have one equipped at a time, but can switch between the three Artifacts you brought with you freely in battle.)
