You finish filling out your sign up form and making your avatar before you appear on a very plain looking island. It's completely empty aside from some grass and some automatically inserted things you can't get rid of like the Vitmon Shop and the Teleporter. Liz appears in front of you. "Hey there! Welcome to Vitmon Mini! Looks like you signed up for a...psychic element Vitmon? Alright then!" Liz snaps her fingers as multiple digital bits float down from the sky and materialize together into a tiny, spherical creature on the ground. Its body is clear and squishy, but it has mysterious energy waves floating around it. It's got two swirly eyes. It's kind of cute. It looks up at you and jiggles a bit. "Huh. This little guy's a bit weird. Actually, is it a guy or a girl...? I can't really tell. I'll let you pick. Either way, you can check up on info about your Vitmon from the menu."
Liz snaps her fingers as her own menu pops open with a holographic display. "Using this menu, you can do all kinds of things. Check to see information on your Vitmon, change the layout of your island, manage accessories, entertainment items, and even food. You can also change the names of your Vitmons and the name of your island if you want." She closes the menu and points over at the teleporter. "That over there is a teleporter. You can use it to travel to your friends' islands, explore ruins with your Vitmons, or go to Vitmon Park, where you can raise your Vitmons with other players." She points to the shack. "That's the Vitmon Shop. You can change its appearance to fit your island however you like, but you can't get rid of it. That's where you can buy new Vitmons and all kinds of things for your Vitmon to wear or play with. That should about cover it."
Liz bows to you. "If you need anything, just push the help button in your menu window!" Almost as suddenly as she appeared, she disappears in a flash of teleportation light.

Victor picks up his Vitmon. "I dub thee... Queen!" He places it on his shoulder and gets to work.
Victor re-tools the island to give a more 'evil lab' type of vibe, including the shop.
Then he heads into the shop. "HELLO!" he demands. "I have come to acquire a crown-and-or-ribbon-type accessory for Queen! I also require Vitmon food!"

You create a large laboratory on the island with two large antennae on the top that have electricity zapping between them. The sky becomes an ominous purple color and clouds swirl around in the sky. The shop is integrated into your evil lab as a sketchy black market hidden in a closet.
You walk into the lab and take a look around. Various tubes of mysterious liquids and strange experiments can be seen within. Unknown machines and a few loose wires that spark around can be seen here and there. You've even got your own library stocked full of books! The teleporter has been integrated into your lab within its own teleporter room as well.
You head over to the sketchy closet and open it to find Liz standing behind a makeshift counter with various wares hanging around and a weird, bouncing green sahagin creature next to her. "Welcome!" You ask her for a crown and for some food. "Of course! For your choice of headgear, I can get you...hm. Would you prefer this Royal Crown or this Royal Ribbon?" She pulls out two different accessories. One is a majestic red and gold crown you'd find sitting atop any royalty's head. It's adorned with many jewels. The other is a silver and red bow with sparkling sequins on it. You're also pretty sure a unicorn vomited on it because there's a decent amount of glitter on there.
"And for food...Well, what are you looking for? I could get you some basic Vitfood+, which just makes your Vitmon bigger, but some people are a bit more picky. They prefer steaks, salads, squirrels, and so on."

Victor holds Queen up between himself and the crown, then the ribbon. "Hm... HMMMMMM. The crown's been done, but I don't know about all that glitter in my lab! Then again, what's science without some RISK!? The ribbon! Now, the food, food... food... What do you prefer, my adorable little blob? Ah? Just the basic Vitfood+? Excellent!"

You decide on buying the Royal Bow for Queen, placing it directly on her head. As you do so, her clear body takes on a silver color and she begins to sparkle herself. Huh. So that's how that stuff affects Vitmons.

You then buy her a bag of Vitfood+, pouring it all out for her to eat. She absorbs the food in her gelatinous body and slowly dissolves it away. You then notice she grows quite a bit in size! She becomes about your height from just the one bag. Her width expands as well, of course.

+1 Happiness
She seems quite satisfied so far. Queen looks to you majestically and jiggles around as if making some kind of command that you really can't comprehend.

Victor changes the island's name to "NOT Victor's Lair"

Victor proceeds to the ruin teleporter and awaits his partner.

You head to the teleporter with Queen blobbing behind you. As the two of you stand on the teleporter, you both warp away to the ruins!

"HELLO! I require a steak-like meal-reward for Queen's first successful test run! Also a new accessory. Something beautiful and befitting her royal slime-ness! She doesn't have a neck, but she can now probably wear bracelets and anklets! What do you recommend!?"

Liz looks through her things before pulling out a few meals and bracelets. "Alright, here's what I got for you. We can give her this lovely Spicy Fire-Grilled Steak, perfect for adding a little zing to your life, OR we can give her this steak salad. Elegant and classy with a light dressing, in case your watching those numbers, if you know what I mean." She nudges you with her elbow before continuing with accessories. "Here, we have an extravagant Golden Charm Bracelet! It's not only luxurious and expensive looking, but it will bring you good luck! On the other hand, we have this Dancer's Anklet. A classy, silver colored ring to be worn around the ankle. It will make you feel slimmer and improve your dancing skill through its magic!"

You buy the Dancer's Anklet and the Steak Salad, giving them to Queen immediately. You put the anklet on her first, noticing her limbs becoming more developed and the silver color solidifying on her. She seems more graceful now. And less like a rotund blob. You then give her the Steak Salad, which she eats with a fork and knife. You aren't sure where she got those from. Instead of blob consuming them, you notice she now has lips adorned with red lipstick that she eats the salad with now.

Queen suddenly pauses and stops moving. You're almost concerned for a moment, but she suddenly glows white as a pink lotus flower cocoon envelopes her.
The flower slowly begins to blossom, unfurling to reveal Queen's new form. A tall, slender woman with silver, sparkling skin. Silver bracelets and anklets adorn her and her body is wrapped in silver ribbons. Actually...that's all she's wearing. The ribbons are almost perfectly wrapped around her to cover anything that would change the game's ESRB rating to M. A silver ribbon is worn like a blindfold over her eyes and her elegant, red lips can be seen still on her. Her long, red hair seems to be made up of red rose petals. She carries in her hand a thorny rose whip as well.
Queen, in her new form, raises one hand high in the air. "Bow before me, minion, for I have reached all new levels of grace and beauty!"
Queen has reached Stage 2!
Queen's attributes have reset.
