Hate scale: Over 9000. I just can't believe this is our sweet innocent Digi chan doing all of this. Well it's not Digi, it's Kai. You gotta keep in mind that characters and writers are two different people. Yeah your right about that but the writer controls there characters actions. Just a little surprised that Digi chose his character to go to the dark side by that much. |

Just a little surprised that Digi chose his character to go to the dark side by that much. I wanted a character that was the antithesis of Tai, the jerk with a golden heart. So we have the rotten guy with a faux nice guy persona. |

On one hand it worked because Kai ended up enjoying torturing Natty. Plus now we you did look Tai really sympathetic. It could be interesting to see if this actually develops into a sort of rivalry or if this leads to Kai and Tai openly feuding in the future.
Then again I wonder if the hate would have been as effective if a character that was less liked was being tortured. Like if this was Karl going through all the torture scenes and was being strapped to the wheel of torture? I think Kai would actually be seen as a hero. Or say if it was Karl that was your starting ally and he was the bounty character would Kai be willing to sacrifice a hated character like that or would he be there best friend.

Mmm, well part of Kai's amusement is that he knows that Tai cares for Natty. While he might enjoy a random NPC being tortured or someone like Karl, it's less likely that he'd stay all day or be as interested as he was in Natty's. |
