Just14KittyYou wake up inside a small room. You're in a soft bed next to a small fireplace with a plush rug. There's a comfortable-looking couch sitting on the other side of the room. Crow is nestled on its back, fast asleep. There's a small window next to a door, but this seems to be all there is in this house, other than a small PC sitting in one corner. When you start to sit up, you brush against something unpleasantly sharp. You hear a groan of protest and look over to see that white fox sleeping next to you. He groggily grabs you in a hug and snuggles up against you, stabbing you with several pointy needles covered in sleep poison. ... You wake up again. The white fox is still wrapped around you, but his armor's laying on the floor. Your stab wounds seem to have been healed. Crow continues to be asleep on the back of the couch. A chunk of your green orb is sitting on the fireplace mantle. But where did Alice go? Where did Ranulf go!?

You snuggle the fox. Without the pointy armor, he is warm and soft and good for hugs. He seems fine with this and snuggles back.
You notice the fireplace is lit and crackling.
Warm...
Crow continues to sleep.

You're awoken by the door opening.
Alice - the masochistic one, back to her old self - walks in, nearly silent as she walks across the room. She has some more wood for the fireplace and a plate of fruit. She looks around, sees you all still asleep, tosses the logs in the fire, places the fruit on the couch, and leaves.

Inari groans louder as you disturb him while getting out of the bed.
Crow opens one eye and observes you, then goes back to sleep.
You acquire the orb and it does that awful thing you hate where it goes inside you to make carrying it easier because it doesn't care what you like it wants to be safe the thing's already been broken into like 1/3 of its original size just deal with it.
When you turn back around, Crow has usurped your position in the bed and is still asleep.
There's still a plate of fruit on the couch and a warm fire in the fireplace.

Take a fruit and head over to the PC, turning it on. "Maybe this will tell me where I am."

Kind of. It tells you you're in a place called "Hideout: Cozy Hut." But you get that from context clues in the menu, not because it has any information. It looks like all it can really do is alter your home's appearance. All you can do right now is change colors.

Shut the computer off and walk over to Crow, poking him a lot. "Are you just a normal crow or are you Crow crow?"

You poke Crow a bunch. He ignores you at first, then finally opens one eye to glare at you. "Chirp."
He disappears, and you feel a sudden weight on your shoulder as Crow nestles down on it.
Inari rolls over. "Ugh... Time to get up...? Fine... Let me... get..." He rolls out of bed, then crawls into his bag of holding.

Pick up the bag and carry it with Inari inside. Head over to the door and go outside, making sure to lock the door. Might not be home for a while.
